hey, gratz on passing pablek

btw, i got a question to ask,

if i am not confident on my next prac, can i book like 2 days?

e/g book on tues and fri.

tues if pass, den cancel friday de prac, cuz i heard some ppl say can cancel, with full refund? izzit true about the FULL refund?

at cdc btw

Posted

can .. as long as 48 hours interval ..

if you book fr example ...

today and tomorrow, then today you pass, can say bye bye to your money already.

got the try sell also, no use wan..

so if you book tues and fri, can cancel + got refund, the money go back into your account. otherwise, burn.

i thought trysell can use one. so i happy2 book prac 7 two times...(not confident pass one time maa)

in the end, i pass one time, the other one (prac the following day) cannot cancel. darn pissed sia ..

Posted

ya. but surely wont exceed 18 times lahh ..

got how many prac only.

but revision cannot cancel.

btw when's your next prac?

see if i free i book CR same session. bored sia go prac alone. then smoke at one corner alone also.

Thanks!

For the test procedure, in the morning early early, instructor will give briefing, then give out number tags, then everybody go for 1 round circuit practice.

Then testers will come down, check name and IC etc, then start test already liao. Every circuit station will have at least one tester. On the road, the testers are only stationed at specific points, so there are some stretches along the road where the tester cannot see you. No need to wait for tester, we just ride on our own. The instructors will brief on this part also.

It will be good to try as many bikes as possible during revision cos during TP cannot choose bike. Bikes are assigned and recycled, I was quite lucky cos I got the bike that I used for circuit revision just 2 days before TP :p

During my TP, morning traffic also quite heavy, gotta be careful, especially when we need to do our first right turn on the road, alot of cars, motorcycles will cut in even when we are already in the right turn pocket.

@knucklehead: Good Luck for your TP ! one piece of great advice from the instructors that i picked up - Treat all the testers like they cannot see, cos they all old men already, eyesight not good haha

hmmm good luck to those take TPs.. and be careful on the road.. too much stories.. If you have a need to be fast. PLEASE be safe and look out for ALL blind spots and "predict" wat the car infront and next to you might be thinking and ABOUT to do... that will save you from "most" accidents...

Just my cents of riding for 2 years and driving for 5 years.. :)

Kindly read thru at least the intro section first before decide to post any comments.... thanks...

Please proceed to this website/web link if you guys have any technical issues on Kawasaki Kips/KR150, I'll update the 1st POST as and when there's a new question. Newbies questions on the top as well. :)

Once u complete your right turn, You have to lane change and keep left. It is a standard procedure. :p Can keep right only if there is a vehicle just in front, but you passed it and you will still have to change lane back to left again.

Default is to keep left lanes all times unless:

you will need to turn right on the next junction. Prepare to change to right lane and keep right in advance.

The road is a 3 lane road and left lane have vehicle parking.

3 lane road, left lane vehicle parking? the last right turn after which straight away go back driving center right? or the right turn before the other right turn. haha

have to ask instructor already. few weeks never go for any revisions already wooo .. ahah

anyway thanks forkie

i remembered here in Ubi got few roads have 3 lanes ma. I cant actually recall the TP route since been yrs i took it lol !

Left lane can use but there oso have vertical parking lots for vehicles.

As such you can actually keep to centre lane with no penatly.

If all 3 lanes are clear you should actually signal and keep to extreme left lanes at all times. Only if you about to make a right turn on next junction where you will have to make an appropriate lane change to the right again before the junction.

after right turn, gotta change to left lane, but remember to see the mirror and the traffic queue in front, cos the vehicles from behind will come speeding and later might have trouble lane changing to the right.

the right pocket part I'm not too sure, better to check with instructor.

btw look out for after the u-turn also, a fair bit of illegal parking along the left side of the road, sometimes they just cheong out like that. . .

I passed on 1st attempt ~ i find it quite easy for prac 1... maybe jus in luck that there isn't much vehicles around... therefore easier for me to get the initial feel of the bike....
