Driving a Car without licence. pls help!

hey guys out there, i have a few question to ask

 

regarding laws, abt driving without a car licence.

 

pls help if u or your friends tio/kenna before.

 

My friend drive his dad car out but without a licence. and he was

caught by police in a road block.

 

1st question- what r the max and min fineS and jail terms?

 

as this is very mess up. if he say his dad lent him the car

his dad will have his licence revoked fine & if he says

that he steal the car he will have another charge and jail term?

so what u guys thinks? and which 1 should he go for 1st-his dad lent him? 2nd-he steal it?

which charge will be lighter?(main point) thx for the help guys!

That's a bit light, isnt it?

No license still take out for a spin.

Well to be frank, if anyone does not give a damn about what happens when he drive w/o license and whack into some innocent party, I dun think the court should give a damn to these people as well.

You know if you start this thread people will start to thrashing your friend first before giving advice. I mean what was he thinking man, driving without license!!! worst thing is driving his dad's car, he is surely not going to be driving any time soon (ban from learning to drive that is) The wise thing to do is to say he took his dad's car without his consent so that his dad don't lose his license for nothing.

 

Count himself lucky that he didn't get involve in an accident.........

This is sad. Getting caught doing something wrong is already bad enough, let alone getting someone else involved and that too your own family members. It could be just this instant that the person is caught at a road block; he/she may have done it so many times before and wasn't caught. But the bottomline is NOT to drive or ride vehicle without a license coz the penalty is severe and it is just not worth it at all.

i know that driving without a licence is a dam stupid things

that he has done, i do know that thrashing him is what alot of ppl

will do. but the fact is we r all "human" do make mistake u see.

everyone will have some temptation that u can't control of it.

and becos he is tempted, he done something that is wrong!

and now he has to face it.

 

i jus wan let u guys know helping someone out is something

most ppl won't do it as becos u are not related to them!

but thrashing them & "F" them up & down is most human being

will do instate of lending them a hand. think abt it if it is

ur friends or ur gf & maybe ur family members?(puting U in his shoes?)

 

and THE MAIN POINT OF THIS THREAT IS TO HAVE SOMEONE WHO

REALLY WILLING TO GIVE ADVISE OR A HELPING HAND.

elo bro,IMHO ur fren shd juz admit that he took the car out without his dad's consent. Most likely wont be charged w vehicle theft,juz driving w/o a valid license. Actually depending on his IO and also whether your Fren's dad will back him up.Most prob ur fren will kena fine & banned fr driving for some time.He might kena a heavier penalty but at least his dad's license wont be revoked.

He knew he would get in trouble for this when he got behind the wheel, most probably he will go to court and face the music. Your friend may be unlucky enough as the judge might use him as an example to the public as a warning to kids like Yeo Ken How, if you do not know who he is, just google him.

 

This is a common misdemeanor that youngster pull off these days, some get away, some end up getting hung by their scrotums either by their parents or the law.

 

When I was still in school, my class mate took his dad's BMW 7 series out for a spin, hit a cab, when the cabbie found out that he had no license, you should have seen the orgasm the cabbie had, he blackmailed a total of $2,227 for a slight fender bender.

Don't give the bullcrap that this is a mistake.

A mistake is commited when you DID NOT know it is wrong.

 

your friend commited the crime fully knowing it's wrong/illegal. don't give me the crap he doesn't know.

 

He was taking the risk, so just face the music.

 

what if he knocked into some pedestrians? or other vehicles? and killed/injured someone?

do you know the insurance is not going to pay?
