There is still an outstanding balance of $9.5k. I made a $1.5k downpayment plus $535 (NTUC) for my insurance.

 

Took a $8k loan from the bike shop over 3 years with 6% interest p.a

 

So, Im paying $262.30/mth for 35 mths. :)

 

Hmmm, do u guys tink is reasonable?

totalled cost plus interest is at $10,680.50

New 250s are around 12,300 at least and you are getting more or less a brand new MP3 with around 6,000km clocked only.

 

As for new MP3s, like all other Piaggio scooters, they will have free labour charge servicing for the 1000th, 3000th and the 5000th km servicing. I felt Alvin wouldnt scringe on these servicings, propably he has just done his 5000th km servicing.

 

If i recall correctly, the previous owner didnt do a topbox.

guys...one more thing to update

 

Piaggio is closed, including the spare parts department for the remaining days in the year for stock take and auditing.

 

Those who wanted to get spare parts, please come in NEXT YEAR ;)

yup, i didnt scringe on the servicing...and the 5000 km was done couple of months back. now only the 10k servicing.

 

No top box, everything original (except the manual, forgot about it) was transferred.

wantd to keep the licence plate but decided it was too much a hassle.

so now as i say adieu to my mp3, i m setting my sights on a sports tourer. either norge or st1300,,,decisions decisions.

could we compiled a list of MP3 riders / owners here in the forum?

once I have the names and if the numbers are substantial, maybe I could plan some rides events for all the MP3 riders....

*I have been dreaming of like 5 or more MP3s riding corners one after another, wanna make it come true lah!*

 

keep your fingers crossed, i will also try to "ping" Piaggio to see they can arrange any perky rideout or meetups for MP3 riders.

 

but 1st of all, the names must be in....as all times, let me start the ball rolling...

erm adr bro...its Genting ROAD, not LANE :lol:

There is a test ride for the 250cc available, just bring your lic and your helmet. ;) oh yes, might wanna call before you come...cus sometimes the scooter is loan to journalists or events.

just to side track abit from MP3...to related 3-wheeler industry.

 

just read the chinese papers today, Carver one, which is the bike featured in the video in the link Daniel provided...is coming to Singapore. Mah Pte is likely to be the distributor.

 

I read on...seems LTA classified this under car's category. The price is about $40,000.

hi... a new batch of MP3 125 arrived at PSA laio.... My motorshop called me and will be getting mine on mid of this month.. yahoo... they shipped in Maroon and blue only. Dont known how true. i ordered a black..
