The 125 engine is being updated and modified for better output and will become fuel injected.

Heard about this one....

The 125/250 models are going to get a bigger wheel diameter to increase stability (will match the 400 and fuoco sizes)

Never heard about this one

Then the whole MP3 range is going to see a few mods like redesigned headlight, new lower seat, redesigned screen, built in backrest for the passenger and finally the roof kit will also be available shortly.

Not this one too but sure hope for this improvement

Bad news is the 125 and 250 are seeing a slight price increase for the new models.

If the points above will be true...then a price increase should be reasonable

Wah sei bro, thanks for the analysis!

nothing close to an analysis lah but during meetings I was updated from Italy that it is in the pipeline 125cc will be converted to FI.

MP3 roof kit is supposed to be in the 2008 Piaggio Accessories Catelogue but have not received yet. It is a costly piece of accessory though. In order to fix the roof, you need to purchase separately the tall windshield 1st. The tall shield is retailing at close to $1k. A ball park figure of the roof would cost another grand at least.

and height is another factor...after the roof is installed it would probably be around, if not more then 2m in height...note that MSCP and general indoor carparks have a height limit of about 2m.

Not that interested in the roof, more interested in the redesign + lower seat.... currently I can't put both feet on the ground even though i'm 1.7m .... personal preference ah

Has anyone put EBC brake pads on their front brakes? Any experience to share?

waah .. how fast you want the MP3 to stop ?? as it is, it got twice the stopping power on the front compare to conventional bikes.. might as well save the money for a frequent rear tyre change. (read that MP3 rear tire wears off pretty fast)

can anyone tell me the dimensions of the mp3's underseat storage/boot?

What is the approximate length? And can ride with the boot half closed? You know, like when taxis carry some large objects.

Just wondering whether possible to transport a guitar with it. o_O

The point is that the stock brake pads aren't very lasting. When it's time for a change, it might be worthwhile to get some that last longer.
