Not intending to get e 250/ 400 as I only have 2b license. Currently holding on to Cl 2B for 3 years, no intention of upgrading. Only looking for one for night cruising, hee hee.

BTW, any shop to recommend? Went Ban Hon Bros that day but they say they do not want to take in my scoot as they does not trade with MAH Pte Ltd (Note: my current GTS200 bought from MAH), so did not bother to find anymore. Or anyone here knows which shop selling second hand mp3 too?

Thanks n cheers! :D

faster go upgrade and get 2A then 2 lah.. then can go for the fuoco 500.

the mp3 are so new and rare, i doubt it will be another year or 2, b4 we start seeing 2nd hand available

Was quite shock to know that after their 1 year launch, some 2nd hand MP3 already on the road. Was wondering whats e reason they're selling?

i believe other than the badge..

the size and width of the rear wheel is another way.

read that ,the 125 & 250 have a smaller rear wheel compared to the 400

or was it the 250 and 400 have the bigger rear wheel

What I understand was the wheelbase for 400 is longer, but top speed for 125 is 103km/h, I usually ride faster than that. :p

How you know that they are second hand? i mean how you determine that they are 2nd hand?

Heard the 1st Fuoco left ASPhoon when I went to pay for my bike installment. Anyway, anyone knows where to get good tyres for MP3. ASPhoon recomended Avon from Thailand.... Not to keen about those. I bet Future scootering does Michelin. Not to keen about that either. Where else can I get tyres and what type? Replies appreciated.

So contrarian, how are your impressions after riding this scoot for a while now?

It's great. Handles well and takes corners, wet and uneven surfaces well, has decent acceleration up to major road speeds, excellent brakes - I have very good confidence when controlling the bike about its handling. It also allows me to shove a whole treasure trove in storage. Couldn't ask for much more really, except I think the hybrid petrol-electric version might be an even better version with reduced fuel consumption and better acceleration.

i can place one full face flip-up helmet,2 set of rain coat and a open face helmet..and still able to put my FP60 which is a big bottle inside..

This is cool that you can store so many items on your bike before fixing a box.

Any idea how is the FC?

Currently riding runner, can only store 1 Open face hemlet :giddy:

FC around 27 KM / L

Really should consider to upgrade to 2A and try the 250 or 400 instead.

The Fuel Injection is so much smoother and the power is reasonable for the weight of the bike.

But it's your choice though....

Hi, I a newbie here, been lurking around this site for MP3 for some weeks.

Got very interesting info exchange. I may get 400 one soon.

Just missed this good deal & also black which is what I want.

http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=195773

Saw another one 250 but think 400 suits me better.

Any comments which is better? (sorry for repeating this again)

Any bros here thinking of selling, pls let me know.

Brembo, I came by to test the MP3 250 but now no stock for black one when ready to book. Next time put this advert in section for fellow MP3ers.Thanks.

250cc good for max speed up to 120km +/-. It's very nice for SG and the occasional short trip to Malaysia.

If travelling further up north and travelling speed atleast 120km/h (most bike groups), I would recommend the 400cc.

Price not much diff if you intend to keep it for long.

FC also a little diff only... 250cc @ 30km/L and 400cc @ 25-26km/L.

Thanks SW9000 for your insightful advise.

I have not ride for some years but with present fuel situation, may pick up my interest in riding again.

MP 400 is slightly taller & also with higher OMV & longer wheelbase & 14" rubber I guess it suits my big 85kg frame I suppose.

From the UK & USA MP3 forums, I gather that the 250 is more lively & smoother for urban road conditions but for mid range up & cruising, the 400 is a gem. Many of MP3ers go for the Givi or Fabbri windscreen for highway & cold weather use, anyone here is using them instead of the original one?

Which local shop deals with LV & J Costa / upgraded varistors?
