Your point about how ppl wont share their knowledge.. Hmm, knowledge is power but it seems a tad selfish to be noth sharing this. It's not like we are all going to have a drag drag of sorts right?

 

And also, just throwing your bike to a shop and asking them to mod doesnt mean you have money. It means that you're ignorant. I would rather know exactly what someone is doing to my bike rather than blindly following a mech who says it's fast now..

 

We are all here to share and learn.. Atleast i am..

yeah..so b happy wif the bike..mod bike no use liao...if u wana mod..den might as well buy class 2...solve ur craving for speed...sg road cant go fast....no pt....rite?:thumb: .....perhaps u can tink abt modding for better FC...tats more practical la...unless urs is a race bike...den no pt liao....:cheer:

Is it wrong to have a discussion of mods here? So discuss and ask, must do is it?

 

I'd rather ask, learn and weight the pros and cons myself before deciding what to do..

 

Pls, if you have nothing useful to contribute then dont. You keep misunderstanding me.. I would like to have a thread with interesting discussion rather than arguments.. I've had enough of that in other threads..

bro..at least let us know what plate number u looking for mah..haha..fp or fq or fr or fs? price can range frm 5.5k to 9k..it depend.

i nvr say "YOU (SUB ZERO) HAVE THE NEED FOR SPEED"...i only said if u hv the need for speed...den might as well buy class 2..it refers to anyone...rite?it seems u r the 1 who misunderstood my msg...rite?so cheers...take it ez...i nvr meant to point the arrow at anyone..i m jus posting on a practical basis...rite?:thumb: ..i believe you post the mods as a reference for every1..rite?:goodluck:

guys how come my horn my rev it then the sound it louder?when i do rev is the sound of the horn is so soft?and there 2 black thing link from fuel tank to the front.one of mine gone lose what does the 2 black thing do?

Use a V-Tec rectifier from Ah-Boy is good enough. Cost about $50-$70 i think. Change rectifier also advisable change with battery

When you rev, more electricity is supplied to the horn, hence louder.

The 2 black thing are air ducts. They lead to your air filter.

Eh....slight correction. the 2 airducts dont really lead directly to the air filters.

 

They lead to a cavity or "space" beneath the fuel tank where the OEM airbox can draw cooler air from when you are at higher speeds.

 

The ducts existence has been very controversial as they do not lead directly into the airbox to provide real ram air....unlike the ZX400 i think.

 

I posted a picture (from a japanese Honda website) in this thread which clearly illustrate what I'm tryin to explain above. But its almost a year ago...so if any newbies interested...can scroll back many many pages to try to look. :sweat: hehehe.

or shld i get a bike from shop 7.8k + renew COE? (with 2months garantee)
