yo yo guys..juz pass n ride my rvf today. shoik!!! , finallyyyyyyyy. may i know @ wad rpm u guys change yr gear ? is there ani tell signs of a clutch cable going to break ? lasty if a cold morning bike cant start..its advisable to use choke ? sori ask so much 1 shot!!! heh

everytime i change gear at 6k rpm.

 

for the cold morning start maybe is the spark plug is too old liao see if u change got any problem. some of the rvf guy tell mi cos i also have the same problem as u. going to change the spark plug when i free

 

if u change ur spark plug still have the same problem then i dun know liao then u must ask some of the old bird here

Typically the sparkplugs on the NC35 last 6000km operating with full effectiveness. With our humid and hot weather and mostly start stop riding can cause premature wear especially if you haven't cleaned your carbs for some time. Make sure you get either the stock NGK Japan ones (there are those made in Thailand) and replace it soon. Its one of the things that if you maintain regularly can save you a big hassle in future.

 

Or you can try the Denso Iridium Power ones for $18 each from Biketech.

Insurance update

 

I just checked my insurance renewal...

 

Becoz of the accident complications, they are loading 50% on my premium even though it's not my fault. I was told that the extra charges will be refunded to me once the case is closed and I have some proof that the other party is not claiming against me. Hopefully, it will really be returned to me.

 

Premium : $588 3rd party with 50% loading + no NCD

I've told this many times... I think I've told some of us here as well.

 

Basically, I was on PIE, a car swerved left into my lane. I didn't have time to brake so banged onto the car, flew out. Yesyes, knock behind means technically I wrong. But there was another witness whose report is against the guy, so I can claim.

 

To add... I'm sick of the waiting. No news from the lawyer, no nothing. Don't know whats the progress. So many months oredi, since August. Next time I have another accident, I will NEVER go back to that crappy law firm that the bikeshop recommended.... NEVER.

I see, its always sh*t when car drivers do not look out for us on the road. In any case. I feel it always better to always give them room to make all the mistakes they want....know what I mean. Cheer up Jungleboy, there may be some ray of hope for you yet..
