Well, if you're kiasu, do your bike-alarm product some justice. Get a real voltmeter and measure. If the voltmeter shows something different, screw the company and get a refund

cos when i lock / unlock e alarm den it will show e voltage of the battery which is 12+++ ... so when i on engine like cannot check ? k&t help me do e installation one leh..

 

well in tat case.... may b tats how its suppose 2 function... or chk wif sum 1 who is usin the same votmeter as urz... yeah like wat redbeacon says screw that n get a new 1......

I was at HKL today....saw a FN RVF selling for 8.8k on road.Coe lasts until 2016. Plus interest its around $10,024. Down 2k pay 3 years 1 mth 222. Paintwork jus did only, its stock paintwork. They will give free 1st hand yoshi exhaust. Is it worth it?

IMO..... It's VERY expensive for a FN plate.

 

What's the machine price? and your insurance cost how much?

Speaking about voltage. I have 1 installed on my bike v long liao..

 

normal voltage on road riding with headlight on is @ 13v-13.5v

 

normal voltage on road riding w/o headlight on is @ 14v.

 

WHICH IS NORMAL.

 

Now the problem. Few months ago my rectificer spoiled and it took me about 4-5days to go to bike shop and repair it.

 

I'm lucky coz of the voltmeter went down to only 8v and quickly i went dwn to bike shop after that and just nice upon reaching, my bike died....

 

I left it there for them to check and as confirmed, my rectificer burn.. so i get a new one.. but now my volt meter seems abit heywire after my rec spoiled and replace a new one. now the meter with or without on headlight. when i'm throttling, it's at 15-16v!!!! only when idiling it's at 13v.

 

Will it spoil the Voltmeter if your rectificer is spoil and u did not repair it straight. long term will cause damaged to the voltmeter too? Coz i suspect it rectificer spoil my voltmeter due to might be i realised it was burn after about 5 days later which had somehow affect my voltmeter.

 

anyone have this encounter or have any knowlegde on this?

im just curious, what does the speed reading have to do with the sprocket sizing?

 

i have always assumed the speed is measured in relation to the front sprocket and engine rpm.. so even if you use a 15/38, 15/40 or 16/38, does it matter? i think the only difference is the actual speed compared with the meter reading..?

 

 

am i wrong? dont mind my asking, just trying to clarify also.

 

 

also i kinda feel its crazy, rvf prices now are MORE than what they were 4yrs ago, for the same plate!

This is the first time I've ever heard a shop selling an RVF past the $10k price mark. Better still, the COE has already been renewed too...

(But what do you think about the bike though, did you go for a test ride?)

damn its ex.... 8.8k jus m/c price rite? like wat u said plus interest is ard 10k.... this is cut-throat... u cud get a fs rvf for tat price or even lesser.... to me its definitely not worth it....

All FN plates have COE already renewed. Even so, 8.8k is very Ex. Most shops sell at 6.5++ only. DO check ard before u consider.
