Honda RVF400 Riders

I change my EO after 50 click and all e wat use mineral oil changing at 200,500,1000 and follow by semi syn till 3k den use full syn motorex

 

my 1st mineral change at 500-600click.. 2nd was at 1.2k... now using

motul semi synthetic and mileage around 2.6k le now think when i hit 3k i go change fully

I change after the 1st 32km, 2nd change at 300km, 3rd change at 1500km before switch to Amsoil at 3k km..

My run-in on my current K7..

 

I did alot of varying revs in lower gears, strong engine breaking and making sure i dont maintain a constant speed, all this during the 1st 32km.

 

After which i change to mineral EO and did almost the identical method..Ride normally thereafter and change to Amsoil @ 3k Click..

 

The 1st oil change..Can see lots of metal flakes floating around..

 

for u to do tat must be at night?y not jus use e dyno run in machine?

No lehx..Just that the traffic on AYE wasnt so heavy by the time i took my bike out from the shop...

 

Why i didnt opt for a hard break-in on the dyno??Bro, new bike u urself as the owner haven whack yet u bear to give ppl whack for u first??? :lol:

Selling off my "baby", Honda RVF 400 plate FQ at $7000 by mid July. Refinancing find ownself.

Reason: Wanna upgarde bike.

-New battery(1 month old)

-chain & sprocket(1 month old)

-volt meter(1 month old)

-yoshimura pipe(4 months old)

-alarm(1 month old)

-clutch plates just change(1 month old)

-fork seal, dust cover and oil just change(1 month old)

-Brake pads just change(4 months old)

-modified k&n air filter

-original paint work

-coe ends next year january

any interested party pls pm me. letting go by mid july. viewing can be arrange.
