that's the problem...on original paintwork...the purple wave are stickers...tat's why very hard to find the stickers..

i think u go to the sticker shop along lavender or any sticker shop in jb, can get a good deal.

 

use a stock rvf for reference, measure very detail. if possible try to download the templates in high resolution and briing along just in case the shop no template

yep i suppose its up to 11. and i'll always say... it really depends on your bike condition. and what you have on it.. yeah its around there i suppose.. but if yours is a 'lok kok' one.. u think anyone would really pay that much?

 

shops eat very little.. if ur trading in for a bigger bike.. i suspect they'll take in at around 8.5-9.5

 

eh.. dont take my words literally.. not e bike shop.. its just a rough gauge i got when i asked..

RVF 400 full 2brothers system ,full original system with 2 mufflers. one potong , one original,MRA racing bubble windscreen, original windscreen,carburettors thats 2 years old, fork body thats 2 years old.,rebuilded shocks, 2 years old front rims, 2years old brake disk,pump,caliper, with EBC HH brake pads, goodridge front brake hose , HELL rear brake hose, bike has just done valve clearance and shims adjustments.bike is raise 8mm on the rear for more ground clearance and improve agility. not forgetting the daytona damper ,. its FR plate . going for 9.5k(best price with everything included)

The next time anyone happens to head to 2nd Link for blast with Metzeler Sportec M1and other "W" rated tyres (The speed and heat rating are stamped on all tyre). The front should be (55W) and rear 150 (66W)/160(69W). I could be wrong so please have a look yourself. When you reach the petrol station after the blast try taking a good look at the tyres when after the blast. Do Inspect and Note the tyre wear, stickness and temperature.

You will be surprised to discover some tyres almost do not display any signs of obvious wear!

 

I trust that most of you guys know the standard RVF tyre pressure. (225/225 or 250)

 

Here lies your answer. And if Tyre mile and longevity is a big issue. Think about how much money are you willing to trade for a peace of mind on the road?

 

Please understand also that RVF was conceived and born on the RaceTrack. She's not a straight line rocket. It's a short-wheel base (good 'flickerability') and thick mid-range torque makes it an excellent "BEND-KILLER"

 

I hope that is the reason for riding the RVF for everyone. It's ok if you haven't. 'Cause She's still waiting for you to discover and unlease her true character and potential.

ermz..pardon me for being not knowledgable, but what u mentioned means sportec m1 is not a good tyre for RVF?? anyway does anyone happens to know the prev owner of RVF FQ 5102X?? cos i got his bike..haa..wan to ask info abt it. n anyone knows where to get good sliders from? and around how much is it?

as far as i know, JB ah gua lane there recently just opened a sticker/paintwork shop. went to take a look and find that their sticker selection is pretty vast but dont expect it to be dirt cheap. avg around RM2 for a 8cm sticker with 2 colours..paintwork they provide is usually airspray..asked the pricing already..pretty good...

Shay,so how is the experiment on the air ducts going?Sorry i could not contribute anything as i got no spare equipment you needed.If really no harm to the bike if no ducts,would consider blanking off the holes.Like this one in the pic.
