Erm . . guys anyone change ur RVF water pump b4?? the 1 bottom near your front spocket de . . can share abt the price??? Thanks

My water pump device costed me $160.

 

FYI, the waterpump seals are built into the waterpump and they stop the water and 4T to leak into either way, usually the cause of white'ing or browning of the engine oil in other bikes. If either seal (or gasket, if you may) breaks, coolant water flows out and onto the floor. And the bad news is, you have to buy the whole pump as the seals aren't sold separately.

i changed mine today . . leaking when i was warming up my bike . . find it strange how come got water leaking as the weather so sunny. Same price

dude.... both sizes r wrong.... but m suprised tat u still can ride wif it... actual size is 120/60(front) n 150/60(rear)... u cud also use 160/60 no harm jus tat sum pple prefer 150 n some 160.......

Use e standard recomendations to learn your bike well.

 

I got one advise for u, learn how to ride your bike smoothly.

Simple example would be if you can ride your bike smoothly, without you noticing you will be goin through corners at a faster pace without forcing yourself. Remember not to force yourself to go into corners at an expected speed.You ride longer and always on the same roads or exits, you will ride smoother and faster naturally so dun have to push yourself now.

tats e same thing i heard but i had frens who used 160/60... he didnt complain abt it hittin/rubbin against e chain... but he did mention tat he felt a slight diff in weight.... overall he said was k.... after a few days ridin n u dont reli feel the diff.... but i wud rather stick to 150/60...

first of all, wats ur speed ur running at?

2nd got coolant? or previous owner mix till coolant compound is too little.

3rd if you got flush & top up coolant, did they top up into your reserve as well?

RVF coolant system will travel to your reserve when heated up and when cools down will go back into your main coolant storage area.
