heard rumours all fullsystem exhaust are no longer legal.. Anyone can confirm this?

 

i dun believe the rumour.

 

arent shops still selling brands like yoshi fs?

 

they can sell, but their defense can be selling not for local street use. like motoworld used to bring in 2 brothers, devil exhaust which were not street friendly here.

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

I think 90% of the SP riders out there (including me) don't have stock stomach. Should be safe ba :D

eh thanks man.. but isit good? currently my pipe.. not legal. but stomach havent tong. but the sound how? got tp catch you before?

that will attract TP... anyway changed back to stock pipe.. stomach exhaust stopper cut open sand and removed... next is to take out my stock can silencer..

8 years ago, I had a modified endcan without Honda wordings, just a plain chrome wrap around it. TP stopped me & rev my bike (it was super loud) but he did not catch my exhaust. Only fined me $50 for tinted visor.

i was using that bike. was at right lane at PIE.. 1 TP ride pass me and stare at me while moving for 2 seconds, then start lane splitting. i follow him also lane split. i was very lucky lol... but now i using stock pipe.. but my exhaust stomach removed the stopper and decarbonize and sand inside..

Hi all just got stopped by Lta today at pasir ris near white sands. Was riding a super 4 as a subrider with gpr end can. I had the gpr cert but the diffuser is removed. He took down all information and pictures of myths bike and told me to go for inspection the next day in the current condition. Was told to be prepared to pay summon and install back the diffuser. Any advice how should I go about it like fitting it back before going for inspection? Can I still ride it to get inspected? Also the owner which was my friend had no idea where he kept the diffuser. Can I be able to get it in the market? How much would I likely have to pay for the summon? Please advice, thanks a lot!

Gpr agent would be excel cycle if i'm not wrong.. Fine will be $500..first timer can try appeal..should get discount if your reason is acceptable..if get appeal be good after that...dont remove the diffuser..only place you can remove it is on the track or in malaysia soil...

No la. Still ride safe. Kena whack injured got money also cannot settle. if ride legal kena summon still can use money/time to settle. Hehe

Newbie here,what is diffuser?Is it the front cat after the header? Thought of de-cat later......Street legal end can only sound nice but no power improve caz the front is BLOCKED!Getting legal end can for around 1K is a waste of money.....Full system is not approve by LTA.

From what i know once decat your exhaust gas emmission will shoot up over the legal limit...in LTA context "its illegal"...

There are loads of bikes running around with decat exhaust. And I'm sure they pass their inspection too.

 

There are differing limits for new vs. used exhaust sound level from what I gather from the bike inspector. Used exhaust have a higher allowable noise level as expected when insulation wear out. I guess the same might be the case for emissions.
