Anybody here know if the guys in JB can do work on a phantom?

My TA 200's been making noises lately, the mech told me that piston damaged need to change. Engine OH at Planet is ard 400 bucks!!

looking for cheaper options.

i tink thats the cheapest ard.. and i definitely only trust this kind of major work wif shops like Planet.. trustworthy.. did my top overhaul there.. they did a good job... and no cut-throat pricing.... :)

Hi gnk, I went to jb yesterday too for servicing.

Bought 5 bottles of eo, change rear brake pad, change spark plug, a can of chain lube and some adjustment all for only rm100 (ard sgd44?) Not sure the bike shop name and location i just ride around and look for a bike shop just anyhow whack.

I asked for overhaul price for my phantom and was quoted 1300rm for full overhaul. Can feel the boss is trying to carrot me as I can do it at planet ah chong for sgd$400. Beware .. Beside me there's one fellow sgrean Malay dude doing his class 2 bike too.

The mechanic service of malaysia jb ah boy is ****ed up.. damn ya ya.. jus do for the sake of doing.. i promise i wun stepped in there anymore.. i would recommand the shop whereby after the malaysia custom's shell, u filter left, turn right to go down the slop, then u will c a few bikeshop and a money changer there. it the shop beside the money changer. at least they dun do things jus do for the sake of doing and price is reasonable.

Hi all, i'm riding a spark and thinking of going JB to modify the bike such as CDI, SP Carb, Block, Clutch and Valve Springs, etc.

 

Would you suggest I modify there? If so whcih shop specifically at Ah Gua Lane? Thanks!!

cheaper do there but bring someone experienced with AGL so wont kene carrot n can bargain.

I just came back from jb to recce the prices for the tires and rims.

 

anyway, anyone can recommend me which shop to change?

 

went to Kok ping and they only hold maxxis tires. and I'm looking for bt39 or maybe shinko.

as far as i know no shop stock bt39 there. mostly shinko dunlop maxxix and taiwan brands.
