Update today just brought my bone to cka TG since needed to run abit of errands at imm.. i think i can understand what u mean when u say dont trust any mechanic until they have proven their skills R_ain lol. 2nd tow back in 6 weeks when i reached home.. bike couldnt start, the electric starter totaly not working. Happened when i was about to ride off from there, mech came to fiddle fiddle abit then say all ok. Turned out not ok then tow back less than an hr later lol. Because i had to change the whole light switch on the left side, so apparently the wiring never do properly -_-". Go back there when it was fixed see the mech who attended to me being scolded by the senior mech and the in charge, felt abit sorry for him lol.

 

Changed to the metzeler tyres, mech said the recommended pressure shd be 250 for front and 270 for back. Sounds a little bit high to me.. bros running the metzeler tyres how much u all usually pump? Thx!

Just to check when u pump full tank wat is the total Km that u can get ? mine avg 180dis. red light out around 160dis. with stock exhuast but with open pod. and hope that this help.

 

Never really did try until the red light come out bro, the last 2 times i pumped was ard 4.5-4.7 l for 120km, the most i pumped was ard 6l at about 150+km, so it should be around there.

No. Front is 120/70-13 Rear 130/60-13 accordingly to the owner manual.

Btw if im going to replace the front tyre to a 120/70, i guess ill have a spare 130/60 so any bros interested in replacing their rear tyre with an almost brand new metzeler(until now less than 50km)for free let me know ok maybe can meet me there have ur tyre changed also.

Im fine already R_ain thanks, brought it down today to kakibukit got most stuff fixed. Paid again for the correct size, even though they were kind enough to ask if i want to do a transfer to TG then get them to fix it free lol.. scared liao. Btw my lesson learnt is... do not assume and really must check after bike is serviced.. must also do some research first if dont know much about the part u fixing up(i guess that applies to me mainly since im noob lol).

 

I also realised the bigger tyre though can fit the rims and clear the fender seem to vibrate at certain speeds around 50-60kmh, so it is not advisable for those that like to change to bigger tyre just for aesthetic purposes.

 

Saw quite a few bones at hq today, theres a particular black bone with very fierce accessories and very unique no plate, must be belonging to one of u bros here?

 

Gathering for supper/coffee pls bros when u all are free have a good trip for all going overseas and happy back to work for everyone else

my front me teen is great. gd mileage and performs gd on wet weather. thinking of changing back to taiwan tyres coz it's sticky and last abt 8000 to 9000 km on my rear end. never used rear metzeler on my rear b4 so I need some feeback on the rear tyres. I have tried city grip. not sticky at all.

quite disappoint on the performance at rainy days. I dont have the confident in it. I need to change the **** tyres.

Really kakarow bro the 130 on the front is ok? Then it must be TG that is screwing up again, they didnt align my back tyre properly, red dot not aligned to the valve, probably thats why vibrating zzz.. so paiseh to ask the hq guys to clear up their s***. Your bone is damn fierce la lol very nice!

 

R_ain bro yes so far so good definitely feel better than the swallow tyre thanks for e recommendation, you not using the same for front and back? Then the treads same? So far im still running it in abit so dont really dare go too fast but feels fine definitely better braking distance. I only feel comfy changing it in a set with the same treads but i guess you guys have better experience and skills on the road lol. didnt tell me u wanted to change the back tyre i would have asked the hq to keep the 130 for you then maybe just pay them for service charge to change. Its so new i think they could have hung it up and sell again man lol. Rainy day dont zhua full throttle la lol now so many idiot lorries on the expressway.
