haha.lol... i mean K2 race tec tire bro, not bike. if bike K2 cost $380, i would make it as a collection liao. lol...got ur bike tml??? great... update us k. lol.

Gp esso is at the first NSH rest stop via the 2nd link. You won't miss it. I'm going by 2nd link, not 1st cause it's nearer to my place.

 

Btw, redbeacon, have you tried calling HKL and ask how much they selling racetec k2 tyres?

Well, asjunior is one of HKL's rider. Dun mention abt that price to him.. hahaha, I noe why. If U always get stuffs from HKL and "the noes how" with them, you can get all that for $380. Do try to head down to HKL and sweet-talk and see what wonders U might get.

Well bros, the Metzeler people does not make tyres catered for my bike's model, so I got another nice competing pair of rubber from HKL at also 380 ;)

Today was good, if not for the intermittent crappy weather.

 

It was nice meeting most of you guys, especially the group that I travelled with on the trip to PG this morning.

 

Rakz, Wen Gege: Good to see more interested folk on the track. Do learn up on the cornering techniques so that fear can be overcome and that you would know what to expect approaching a turn.

 

PuteraBrothers: I've accepted your "never give up, that's the spirit!" praise but I do consider this to be quite normal for somebody to be very interested in track.

Put it this way, I should be looking up to you as an elder. You've got a lot of riding years under your belt but you wanna go to track to take on a whole different level of riding altogether. I should call you a riding sifu and should approach you on how to ride on the roads, man :thumb:

...those MY and SG drivers keep on cutting and driving recklessly and it's damn irritating, if not dangerous

 

diamond_crust: Some tyres do slide, and it can sometimes be a fearful annoyance, especially when one's speed increases inside a turn. Since you were interested in joining us for track on a different kind of bike, here's my suggestion: If you are willing to "push," you can do so up to the point where the tyre just begins to slide. Just remember, when the slide happens though, don't snap shut the throttle -- big newbie mistake to do so!! Just control and ease out the throttle until it stops.

It'll be good experimentation for you everytime you head to track ;)

 

Seeya guys at our own thread (you should know which one), and hopefully for more track sessions ;)

 

P.S.: If I owe any one of you money, do approach me the next time we meet. Don't hire a loanshark or a hitman to hunt me down mkay? :giddy: :lol:
