guys, wana share some real bad experience i had yesterday...

 

as my 3 point crashbar had some scratches on the right side some time back, i decided to sell it to my fren and i get a new set of crashbar for myself. so i went down to Motoworld with a fren yesterday about 4pm, paid and collected the set of crashbar and requested one of the chinese mech to change my crashbar and install the old set onto my fren's bike. and after removing the old 2 point crash bar from my fren's bike and installing my old crashbar onto my fren's bike, the mech told my fren tat he have to pay S$15 for the installation.

 

i was surprised as the cost of the new crashbar is S$50 with installation, so i passed my fren S$5 and ask him to pay the mech. but the mech insist its S$15 for the installation. i was agiated and asked the mech why do i have to pay S$15 for the installing of the crashbar? swopping of the crashbar, at most i pay only S$5 more, but the mech told me its boss's order. so i went to talk to the boss.

 

forgotten his name but he's wearing specs, i then told him...

s4vtec : "boss, isn't it too much? installing of crashbar for $15 bucks???"

boss : "no no, its not expensive."

s4vtec : "hey this is not the way. installing crashbar for S$15 is jus too much."

boss : "no no, its not expensive."

s4vtec : "boss, this place is Motoworld leh, not any other XXX motor shop."

boss : "coz u swop the crashbar, more work."

s4vtec : "S$15 is jus far too expensive for this little amount of work. if its S$5 i can accept, but S$15 is just too much. my fren jus bought a S$30 gadget from you. and now u still wana charge us S$15 for the installation???"

boss :

s4vtec : "forget it, since they want $$$, i pay. and tats it."

 

soon after, we left Motoworld....

 

i really think and laughed, S$15 bucks for installation of crashbar... haha! :giddy:

earlier on, i was on my way home on the right lane of AMK Ave 5, keeping right with signals to my right, lane changing into the right turn lane to turn to AMK Ave 6. and as i was about 50 meters away from the junction, the above mentioned taxi, made a lane change from center lane to the right lane without signalling. i was already very shag after 12hours of work, but was awakened by the taxi's sudden move. applied counter steer left followed by counter steer right, i managed to escape bumping into the rear of the taxi. and as we both came to a stop at the traffic lights, i looked at the driver. first look, he didn't look back, like nothing has happened. second look, he waved a sorry showing the unwilling face... i was like, WTF??? i didn't look the third time or anything. jus maintained my cool as i had planned my day schedule ahead with bike shop and bike shop and Kulai! told myself, "Keep Cool, Thomas!"

 

guys reading this, especially newbies, do always be very careful and observant on the road, cos u wont know where and when...

 

guys and gals, safe riding and have a nice, cool day ahead. jus like me... :smile:
