Hi all,

 

Now is 2am in the morning when I post this message, I was drive along bukit timah road just after coronation plaza when I saw a strong red light from the overhead bridge (covered). My initial reaction was to slow down my car. Upon passing the covered overhead bridge I saw two person with a tripod mounted a gaget whichlooks like the speed camera facing the front........(at the back of the licence plate)......I drove slow pass the area and made a U-turn to confirm my suspicion..........

 

I WAS RIGHT! upon crossing the overhead bridge (ACTING AS IF I WAS REALLY CROSSING THE BRIDGE AT THIS HOUR!) I saw two TPs (wearing dark blue uniforms looking at the tripod mounted palmtop....tapping on the screen) of course all the taxis zooming below......thinking this is the infamous infa-red camera (newest addition to the speed camera family)...I crack my head thinking how they could take the licence plate at such a distance and at such low lighting.......

 

Passing them I went down the bridge onto the opposite side of my parked car......i walk toward the chinese high bus stop......there I gotten my answer......!!!!!! behind the advertisement boards (which every bus top has one) there was a wide lense camera (black box) placed on the floor with a transmitter placed on top.......it is sending all the images onto the palmtop on the bridge.......at that time alot of cars zoom pass this cameria at neck breaking speeds but the cameria doesn't emit any flashes or lights..........IT WAS TAKING PICTURES USING INFRA-RED!!!!!!!

 

What I can only say is good luck to those drivers speeding down this stretch of the road.......

 

Traffic police has a new toy in town which is more undetechable then before liao..........all I can say...it's near end of the year and performance bonus is up for grabs......BEWARE!!!!!!

dudes those who washed bike yesterday remember the orange version S? todae at unique i met the mike from S4 melayu(orange colour Vs also) their bike look exactly the same man!

 

nowdays so many bikes look alike.. no surprise dude

anyways i got a few nonsense qn... i changed to 45T yesterday, by right my speed at 7krpm is supposed to be lower rite? cos now pickup is gd and speed at 7krpm is 110plus plus(gear6)?? is this the norm?

 

also, other then bitubo top tank mount damper, got any other brands and how much?

u have 2 options...

 

1. go count the teeth (at most 45 teeth nia, won't take very long to count, yeah?)

2. check the internal side of the sprocket as the number of teeth is marked on the sprockeu might need to turn the wheel at stationary to look for the marking.........)

 

actually, the differences is not jus one teeth only... its the rpm difference which causes the time taken to reach desired speed at desired rpm. difference can be felt mostly at top end rpm... hope the above helps to clear ur mind of quires...
