i got the murphs fork brace on mine, cost abt SGD150 including shipping to sgp. I can feel the diff esp on uneven rds and those white speed regulating strips when i just got it installed, after that...so used to the stable feeling liao...

Well, science shows that womans 'appears' SLIMER wearing black-coloured clothings as compare to lighter-coloured clothings. So black colour Wee 'appears' smaller in size thus looks faster....

there is a bit of truth in this.......thats y i wear black colour wind-breaker while I ride! Makes me feel 'smaller'.........if not car drivers will think y m i carrying a spare tyre ard my body!

talking about fog light, i hav no idea on that. may be al-simmons can advise.

 

but i am trying to install a simple LED light torch on my crash bar for the coming betong trip. just to enlarge my bike profile and hav other to spot me easily in the dark.

 

currently finding a way to secure it firmly.

 

will take some pic and show you all if it works.

 

 

May I suggest that you just tie disposable light-sticks onto yr crash bar with cable-ties?

Anyone modded the Handguard for the DL1000 to fit DL650

Just got a set of handguard from Guan Hoe (1000 part)

$48 ($24 one side) without mounting hardware.

Mounting hardware - 1 pair of screw $15 (need 2 different set)

no washers and nut yet.

 

Any 650 keen to share the screw set / need 2 separate screws but they come in pairs.

 

Or the 1000 bros wanna get the item off me?

i did the same thing last year,only to find out there is no way to fit the DL1k guards onto the 650.

the OEM dl650 guards have been fabricated to fit the one less hydraulic reservoir on the clutch side..which is also the reason why the dl1k ones won't ever fit,unless you cut them up..good luck!

Suprisingly last Fri I saw our handguards fitted on a FJR13. Didn't notice if it's the 650 or the 1k ones. Tho i thk it's more of the 1k ones that he's using coz this bike has hydraulic reservoir juz like DL1k.

 

To those goin for 3 NCR. ENJOY!!!!!! I gotta miss the fun.
