listen to your long trusted mechanic's opinion.

 

the stock tire should last you more than 20,000km.

to what extend is the vibration?

 

to me all bikes vibrate unless the engine is dead.

 

how did you manage with "low speed" at "1st n 2nd gear" "before opening the throttle"?????

 

check your timer. it's a cross-head screw just below the fuel tank on the left. tune it lower (anti-clockwise) to slightly above 1000rpm or at 1500rpm.

 

you should find the vib disappear otherwise check with your mechanic.

11. ohlins shock absorber ($1,500);

 

12. rear brake pad ($20);

 

13. clutch pad ($160);

 

14. semi syn engine oil ($45);

 

15. clutch cable as spare ($50)

 

offer lasts for 1 week for a price of $9,800. after that i will trade in with southern motor with a used fjr and you may have to pay more to get it.

 

with the same price, you can take up a loan from southern motor (with $2k deposit) for an interest rate of 6%.
