I am looking for Michellin Pilot Road but Unique Motorsport does not have it.

This is a pure street tyre and share the same tyre dimensions with stock BMW R1200GS.

Anybody can advise?

Bro probably you can try checking out Race Werks Motorsports at Ubi.

Best is to call them up and check. Cheers:cheeky:

I am looking about for the skid plate also especially seeing how our Wee's oil cooler and exhaust header is exposed in the open. However i see like most skid plate must fix onto a certain brand of engine guard or crash bar which makes the task difficult.

Ya Bro, seems like our Wee's bottom is too exposed unlike its brother, the Vee.

I have H& B engine guard and looking for a compatible skid plate. I was wondering if there's anyone out there who is using a Wee and have skidplate on. The market here is small so no doubt have to import it. What I really want to know is what skid plates are the rest of the wee/vee owners are using and how much is it to bring it in. It would be interesting to hear from other owners since other forums (VSRI, Stormtroopers etc) are talking about bringing the stuffs to their country, not to SG.

I would be interested for rear shock absorbers if anyone is doing a mass order. Thats one important upgrade.

You mean changing the suspension like the after one like wilber or ohlins? That would cost a bomb for me, :sian: At the moment, I'm getting the rest of protection first like Radiator Mesh ans Skid Plate which the Wee seems to lack.

Great! got buddy to talk bike next friday.

Yesterday was at m-technik, they were saying 1 ang mo fixed the sw-motech skid plate and keep complaining about the engine heat. In the end, the ang mo has to cut lines of holes to allow better ventilation to the oil cooler.

Anyone with Sw-motech skid plate can comment as I'm using sw-motech crashbar, have to get the skid plate.

thanks

at times i do feel my wee rear susp bouncing away, however if not cornering, it is actually quite comfy:)

I think this also depends on the rider's weight liao. For me riding alone will be ok but with pillion, I can usually feel the sus go down close to all the way.

Demues I tot of buying amostuff skid plate http://www.amotostuff.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=AMSVSEP&Category_Code=street-body, but is still checking around if there's anyone who have use this skid plate before. Tot of hearing of local review.

The skid plate looks good, but extremely costly. wonder can ask sengkwang customised for us? with a few orders might be cheaper. LOL

I also newbie as I just gotten my wee (DL650 while DL1000 is affectionately known as Vee) about 2 months ago.

Just take note that DL650 (820mm) ride height is slightly lower than her big brother DL1000 (840mm) and dry weight for DL650 (217kg) assuming K10 model and DL1000 (238kg). I always think it is the rider who can control the bike especially i ever seen a girl 2 times smaller than my size reserving a busa not when she saddling the falcon with ease many years ago. However just take note of the hardcore data fact first. I myself standing at 179cm and weight 100kg having a hard time handling my DL650 for the first 2 weeks. A couple of times already tip over. Now more used to her already.

According to the old bird, Anodise, it seems like the ride height can be adjusted however do take note that curb weight is also one major factor you should consider getting such a overweight tourer:)
