Anodise/Guys, want to meet up this Thurs since Fri is a holiday? Was wondering if it be ok if the storms from all sides meet up. Then we can share our knowledge and know more about each other.

Bro, I think I experience this before. Is it like you are riding at a speed then sudden;y you feel like loss of power fow a few seconds then after that it return back to the normal speed?

 

I did ask Al-simmon about my problem last Fri before he left off and he told me because ours are big bike, we need to whack it out once a while to clear the carbon in the exhaust. SG road how to whack. Some more with my pillion, she will ask me to ride max 11. So i did as per what Al Simmons advice me to. That is where I whack my bike to the max once in NSH. True enough, after that my bike was ok. No more loss of power/ knocking effect.

 

I never had back firing effect. If I'm correct, this only occurs for the Vee not the Wee.

hello brros out there.. nid ur advises... i think i hv decided to get dl1000 at loois. but b4 that, just wanna seek some few advises... where can i get to fix the mainstand, the headlight ptotector and the engine guard? cos if i were to get new one, all these thing were not fixed on the bike... another thing is, i am at 159cm. i know the bike is too high for me. but i fall in love with the bike. isit possible to lower down the height? any suggestion to the old birds here?? and wat first tthing i should do with the big once i bpught it? ur hels and advises are really much apreciated...

You can get the stuff you looking for at either of these 2 shops: Mtechnik or BikeTech 21.If they don't have the stocks then have to order which take weeks. Best is to call the shop to check if they have the stock.

 

Lower of height got a few ways:

1) Change seat with Wee Strom (Difference of 20mm)

2) Sjorter Dog Bone

3) Under the seat there is this black color rectangular support, you can reduce that one also.

 

I'm not the old birds but at least I can think of the following ways as mentined above to help you. Prob other guys will give you the rest of the info. Hope this helps.

then if that's the case ....your bike is telling you that u are too slow!

Anyway haha yeah its hundred dollars different...

But noticable different for me...i go try "crashing" the hump...handling was way much better...do not feel the vibration as per last time...infact i was going fast on all the hump just now haha...just to try it out...New stuff mah... So perhaps those who enjoy offroading will benefits from this...

 

Cornering wise...i dont feel e different...perhaps maybe im comfortable with my vee coner handling all this while

 

Actually the reason i bought because the handling of the bike was terrible when i install my hepco alu...Yesterday tried 200km/h with my Hepco alu...and it was way better than before...Anyway that is my point of view during my mini dry run at 2nd link...

 

Will share more when i experience more of it...

 

Anyway guys...this Sat who interested in the Kopi?
