Hi everyone! Just wanted to drop in and say hello to all the Strommers again.

 

I'm very happy to say I just got my brand new V-Strom 650 (white!) and been spending the past week getting to know my baby. Spent pretty much all week getting my riding gear (shoes, gloves, helmets, jacket) and some accessories (main stand, crash bars). Wanted to get more stuff but all this is burning a very big hole in my pocket. Got to spread out my spending.

 

Was at Motoworld earlier this week and met another Strommer. Was good talking to you bro!

 

BTW, does anyone know who owns the yellow V-Strom parked at the St. George's MSCP? I'm white one next to you!

 

Anyway, I'm looking forward to finally meeting you guys soon and hopefully I can go touring in June if my schedule allows.

Hi Khai. Yeah was talking to him about getting some H&B boxes. Went to m-technik but out of stock. Have to wait till after CNY to install my Journey topcase. In the meantime it's carrying my heavy bag to work. My aching back will be very glad once I can get my box.

 

Do you guys meet up often to ride? Don't mean to intrude but I would be more than happy to meet up with you guys. got a lot to learn about riding (again) since I stopped riding for about 5 years. Was telling Damien I feel like I should put one P-plate on my Wee. Plus, V-power is cheaper in JB but I'm not familiar with the place so riding in a group seems a lot safer to a newbie like me.

Hey Yan_Kit, you are not alone. Indeed V power is cheaper in JB. But I am more cheapo, I pumped 95. Haha. Anyway, I too haven't met any of the bros here. Haven't got the opportunity to do so. Only been to GP once with my 05 Vee. Btw, I am a new owner too. Look forward to seeing you around. Ride safe. Thank God weather's improving.

It would be good to have the P-plate on ur bike if ur still getting used to it.

 

I do paste P-plate on my bike's box as i am still new to riding a Cl2 bike, hence, with the P-plate, i hope some motorist would give way to me.

 

Dajal is not a fast rider, but i can safely say that he is among the top 2 fastest rider on an enduro tourer.

Yes and no Mafitra. Yes, I live in Punggol. No, I dont think I met a fellow strommers at K&T. I've only gone there once to chat w Dr Clifford but didn't see any Vee or Wee whilst I was there.

 

Is there a list of strommers published here before like whether Vee or Wee and location? If not, maybe can consider.
