Hi guys

I am riding a Honda NSR RR. When i throttle up my bike, its smooth till it reaches 4000 rpm then from 4000 to 5000 rpm it feels as if the engine is knocking and I have to increase the rpm to atleast 6000 to be smooth again. It feels as if its losing power between this stage and the noise also different like air trapped in somewhere. Can anyone suggest what could the problem be and how to fix it?

think u need a proper tuning. dunno of any good tuning places but there's a shop at amk industrial park 2, autopoint, 5th storey which i find good. it's run by a malay chap, very friendly. think he is quite good. that range of rpm u mentioned could be the valve opening, thus losing abit of power.

Thanks. Can you tell me about the exact location of this shop?

Ok. Let's assume u are coming up from PIE travelling on CTE towards SLE. Exit AMK ave 5. turn right and go striaght. turn at 3rd T junction. then turn left and go straight abit and turn right into amk autopoint. head up the ram to 5th storey. find the shop named NTrust. beware of the last ram. coz u need to head down instead of up.

Search up Streetdirectory on the internet and type autopoint or postal 568047.

why dont u ask SP riders in the sportsbike section. i used to ride a SP, i remember there is a slight lag at certain RPM.... do make a post there instead... maybe its normal... maybe.

Life is not the amount of breath u take, but the moments that take ur breath away.
