Recently there were many questions abt how CTEK Battery chargers charge in terms of amp ( capacity ). Chargers all charge slower ( lower amp - XS800 = 0.8amp ) if rated .08amp & faster if rate 25amp ( highest amp - XS25000 = 25amp ). Nothing to do wif the capacity of the battery.

Got a question, is there a recommended interval that you should take your battery out to charge? (e.g. 3 months once)

Are we talking abt battery that is not being use at all, like a standy battery ? If the battery is on a vehicle that is being use daily or constantly, then it is only necessary if u notice it is weak - due to under charging. We strongly recommend all automotive batteries to be "recondition" once a year.

Yah, I mean the normal one in my bike.... So automotive needs to be re-condition, how about motorcycle?

Yes, if your bike battery is the wet cell type. I will offer free battery reconditioning to all if u come by appointment - most likely it will take abt 1hour for a small bike & 1.5 hour for a car battery. We prefer weekend appointment.

Ooo that's a good offer! But my bike's battery is the MF type...

You r most welcome mate. Do install the 56-260 ( additional charging Cord ) onto yr bike - then in future just charge direct thru the 56-260. The crocodile clips are 4 u to charge any other automotive batteries. Pls note the connectors for use on both item are common plugs. Cheers
