Recommended Battery Charger

Recommended Posts

thnks fr d prompt reply...

hmm battery size.. let say, yuasa battery on s4?

yep would wanna know that too, using the same batter.

Charging time wif any charger will also depends on the condition of the battery as well. Most bike batteries will take abt 2-3 hrs if in good condition & not totally flat, but thru experience if u onli need to charge to start then an hr of charging the battery should do it. If battery is totally flat - then the XS800 may require 8-10hrs to charge it up to full again. :)

U r refering to a Booster Battery Pack kit - basically a spare battery with a charger built in. No i dun have them, i feel that they are too bulky & heavy to use. They are only useful if u have a flat battery & need to start - maybe it is better or quicker to push or jump start. cheers

any AC/DC 12V current regulated adapter that support high Amp can do the job. I have 1 x 12v/24v OEM adapter (8mA max ) and it does the job well.

i got mine for ard $35 at one of the electronics shop in Sim lim tower

Hi......

The XS800 will do - priced at s$70, local postage is FOC. Will email u in 5mins ! TQ 4 yr interest. cheers

will the XS800 also charge a car battery? esp 2-3 litre car (bigger battery?)

noticed from packaging that only the XS3600 has car icon, so shd be able to charge car battery

Preferably I wd like a dual purpose (car & bike) charger.

thanks..

Yes both the XS800 & XS3600 will charge all Automotive Batteries, difference is in the speed they charge. The XS3600 comes in 3 speed charging mode & the XS800 is strictly Plug & Play. XS3600 is priced at sin$135, local postage is FOC. Both come with extra charging cord, so u dun have to remove yr bike or car battery for charging again.

Hi, Limbatt , I had bought the battery charger XS800 a few months ago and was very happy with the no-hussle use of it. However, today, I tried to charge a friend's battery, None of the 3 indicators ( error icon, half charge icon, full charge icon) lit up. I checked all connections, changed power points sockets, double check the polarities and is sure that all are in order. Any idea what else could be the prob?
