Hi all, just came back & tested a new thai border Golok.... rd leading to golok is a very long winding trunk rd, took us 16 hrs to get there.Terengganu area has the best rd esp kemaman n kertih area..... immigration procedure are the same as in Sadao. Left 2 more thai - malaysia borders for me to try, pengkalan kubu and bunga ..... Golok town has army personnel roaming with M16 in hand........ Hotel is less then RM50 per nite in the town and outskirts hotel are RM70 due to the facilities available....

i was in trengganu sat nite n kemaman sun nite :)

Started forcing yesterday. :faint: The pain comes the next day. Can really KO me sia

Best of luck, recover quickly and do not feel so sad.
Thanks. Yeah, it is getting me down the longer this takes. Waking up everyday, seeing my own inability to move my own hand, not even by a few mm. the feeling is depressing

All the best, no time to be sad.....after op...must start on speeding up the recovery process. If u let the hand idle too long...it will take long to recover. U still have to go for TP next year....but don't let your brother know.

For example, before my fracture fully heal; I hair line fracture the other feet. Now they take turns to heal and fracture again....:faint:

Both feet heal already a not?

and she is also banned from riding motorbike
How's she doing with the other 2-wheeler?

My prayer for u:

"Dear God, we ask of your blessing of healing to be upon Deb. We pray that you would guide the hands of the doctors in the treatment. Above all we pray for peace to be upon Deb. We pray because we believe you are the God of the impossible. In Jesus name, amen."

In Him all things are possible.

God Bless

Thank you.

Recover well! Let nature take its course of healing..

will Pray for you.

take care, restrict your movements if possible..:)

Thank you.

Hi...long time no see you here liao...ya,we will all pray for her speedy recovery and maybe might see her riding again soon....sshhhh!!!!:cheeky::angel:
Yeah, I hope they will let me back on the bike...

poor gal, who;s the lucky guy?

Yes, would like to still complete this trip. Cept for it's gonna take longer then a year. :dot:

not so good.

Just wanted to update everyone on my status, had a 2nd opinion yesterday, 2nd surgery not recommended now as Drs wanna give another 2 months to see if my own nerves can regenerate itself.

From the ultrasounds that were done, my nerve at the site of fracture was swollen 2-3 times. This probably indicates that nerve fibres were torn and the fibres r trying to grow to reconnect themselves. Will only know how much can be saved a few months down the road. But at this moment, I still cannot move my right hand at all.

hi CS noted.

hey guys, meet -up session this afternoon 26 apr confirmed.

anyway, saw the dr yesterday. have another appt. scheduled on tues.

Bad news is that my bones did not grow at all. same state as it was on the day of my op. sigh...

I read with interest on your recovery from the incident....

Being a fellow rider on the PBW week, I feel the need to put in my, lessons-from-experience, opinion.

Has the issue of your diet come to mind?

It seems that your bones are not able to mend and it has been a rather long time.

Of course, the first thing that comes to mind is calcium, but there are probably more minerals and nutrients that may be available, to speed up recovery.

I cant advise u on the exact nutrition, but, you could perhaps read it up from some books etc etc.

Am sure there are some fellows out there reading this that may like to further add on to this aspect of road-to-recovery.

God bless.... :)

Hey AMK, good to see someone responded....

Sounds like potent stuff.... but I think need to brew at home, cos the ones sold at food stands are water, nano mini-slices of fish and heaps of MSG.

While the potion is brewing... swallow at least 500mgs of Vit C.

I understand that it helps lots.

Cheers...

Thank you for your well wishes. In fact, diet is one of the things that are always changed immediately after such an accident. I'm taking the max dose of calcium and calcium rich foods now, been going under the sun to increase vit D intake as well. As far as I am aware, doing everything that has been recommeded.

fish soup eat till scared liao :cry: but I must say it did help with the wound healing.

It's ok, but do take care of yourself now k. 995 Now very hot job.

Ok, will go for higher doses of vit c to see if it helps. Daily intake of fruits not helping.
