anything that is not original from the bike dealer itself when it came is consider aftermarket parts and therefore considered illegal unless there's a certificate to go along with it like those legal aftermarket pipes..

TS: I doubt so but you can ask the person at the centre you usually go. The standard varies a little from place to place.

For lightings you do need a cert to certify it is an approved design by certain institutions. I have emailed LTA before about adding pole lights, and their reply is that they required certificates to proof that the lights are approved types.

Things like tyre caps might not need approval, but you will definitely need to have an approved type of lighting fixture to put on your bike. Try not to shoot others down without clarifying first.

Bro kurarensu might not be 100% right but what he said have some truths in it. Certain modifications you do need approval to be on the right side of law.

Are intergrated LED tail lights legal in Singapore? Can these tail lights pass LTA inspection?

http://www.flyncycle.com/acatalog/CBR1100_XX_BLACKBIRD_TAIL_LIGHTS.html

whitesugar46, those lights are most likely not approved like what bro ben1112 said.

Any way I would not recommend them because of the types of led they use.

Leds used for vehicle taillights uses superflux leds. They project a wider beam then the usual 5mm leds. Look at BMWs with led taillight, those are superflux types. Notice how bright it is compared to those integrated taillights you see on the bikes?

There are quite a number of bikes using those integrated taillights. Do a comparison and decide if you still want to install them.

Bro from what i understand you just want it to pass inspection right? OR you wanna pass inspection and BE legal? If just pass inspection is quite easy, otherwise tough luck...

some lenient inspectors will kpkb if u have integrated tail lights on cos its definitely not street legal compliant.

However, they many close one eye if you lucky.
