Suzuki Burgman 650 ABS Executive

Was wondering any burgman 650 riders out there interested to share feedback on bike.

 

Test report (Non Bias)

Firstly it is a very comfortable scooter but a bit on the heavy side 270kg. It is quiet when cruising and gives around 20-24 km per litre of petrol. when topping up petrol must be careful cannot top to max or it will overflow and very messy. With the mirrors open it cannot squeeze through traffic you have to close the mirrors in advance. the heated grips and seats are of no use. It can hit 120-130 km/hr effortlessly and quietly. But the handling and cornering is not as good as a Tmax but I don't ride crazy so it ok. The engine at idle is not quiet. I went to guan hoe and they say its like that . Brakes are not so good in my opinion as compared with tmax. Fuel tank capacity is 15 litres. The built quality of the scooter I would say is soso. its not top level that's for sure. when you ride slowly and decelerate in the process you get that jerk forward effect (shaft drive effect) no free play.

 

Good things about the scooter

1.Luggage space is very good.

2.Wind Protection is good but can be improve with aftermarket brands

3.Stability and comfort

4.If you are not a hyper speed demon this scooter can take you touring anytime in comfort at respectable cruising speeds.

5.Lockable glove compartment is a plus.

6.Pillion foot rest is good as its the flat floor board type that don't spoil woman's shoes.

7.Power mode is good if you want fast pick up.
