Why not you join the west side thread people for their weekly supper session to kulai or Taman sentosa. Coz quite a number of them got PDA phone with GPS. I saw their demo , auto routing & voice prompt is ok, except the battery drain on the PDA is fast, PDA also not water proof.

U can load IMG file into GPSr but not the MP format, MP format is raw file of IMG file. It'll be easier if u load your IMG files using SENDMAP20 which you can download it for free CLICK ME .

U'll need to get MapSource 'recognise' ur IMG file before u can upload to ur GPSr, it's quite complicated. Easiest way is to use SendMap to upload IMG to ur GPSr.

Yes, u'll need Garmin Que to read malsing maps, but if ur bluetooth receiver are non-Garmin brand, u'll need additional software like GPSProxy to convert GPS data from NMEA0183 (non-Garmin brand receiver) to GARMIN protocol.

I believe there is nothing wrong with the software. It's likely due to satellite fault. GPS signals are not accurate by the metres unless you have a military GPS unit, which are dead accurate to a few metre radius. You can't be sure though unless you have 2 or more GPS units running concurrently.

Not possible. MK10 map format and malsingmaps format are different. Malsingmaps maps' are meant for Garmin GPSr. Try downloading MK10 maps from here:

have you tried it personally with the thailand maps? i am posting this so that I can see if it is my unit's inaccuracy, or the map's inaccuracy that is showing the error. I do not encounter this with msia and sg maps btw.
