Hi Bros, mine bike has a problem of tail light! It keeps on without brake . The tail bulb is burnt. I have changed a new bulb but it is burnt again. Same of over heat because it keeps to switch on brake light and the red shape was melt.

could anyone can give me an idea of this? My friend told me it is a plastic pad under the hand brake, maybe the plastic pad is crack.

It is possible? Please advice, thanks!

Not familiar with SR300 but for the brakes, when we use the hand lever (and foot lever), beside pumping the brake fluid to the brake pads, the brake switch (electrical) is also activated, closing the circuit, allowing electricity passes thru' and light up the brake light. Really much like the light switch at home.

 

My guess is your brake switch might be stuck in the closed position, so the brake light is permanently on.
