surely over some times, scratches start to appear on the bike you used to washed and free of dirt. maybe hit by pebbles at high speed or some other mishap, you beloved bike is decorated with scratches you do not wished to be seem with.

 

any ways to cover them up or where to get similar color marker specially made for covering up scratches?

think there's a turtle wax product where they have scratches cover up.use a lip stick kinda wax then go over the scratch.then polish it of with the liquid.i nv tried b4.it comes in diff colours.but they state for car use.so i'm not sure abt bike..

I just use an art and raft paint marker..After it dries just use car wax..Wax whole bike..Seems to work..

i find the closest colour spray paint. u can request for paint catalog frm gd paint stores. spray the paint in a container (i use those disposable plastic 'tow huey' bowl) then use a fine brush, dont save on this... buy a good paintbrush frm artfriend store (a daler one cost $3-4, its made of horse hair). paint over the scratches. i take out the fairing and bring home so tat i can work on my table with lamp. when its dry, paint over with clear lacquer (preferably the same brand) this time overlap abit over existing paintwork, so that the 'cover-up' will blend in. when done wash the brushes in thinner or turpentine so can reuse in future. becareful not to spill the solvent on ur paintwork! :smile:
