With Mod Asking S$52k, Stock S$50k, sgcarmart cheapest $59k with mod.

 

Subaru WRX STI 2005 Cockeye version (Black colour, original coat = no accident)

Timing belt, pumps, thermo all replaced

Around 260 whp (yes on wheels!!! not crank), aligned & balanced but no corner weighting done

 

$52k for the car with these stuffs

1. HKS Silent Hi-Power Catback exhaust with cert

2. HKS reloaded open pod

For those keen with a STI, these are some of the difference from a WRX

-Handling

-gearbox 6 speed

-swaybars

-brembo gold brake kit

-STI radiator (bigger, support till slight over 420bhp)

-VF39 turbo

-Electrical wiring layout

-Auto climate aircon

-STI speedometer

-STI ecu, STI map

-STI seats

-Door side panel (depending year of manufacturing)

-Coils

etc etc etc....

STI is a very different car from a standard WRX. You don't pay the extra 30grand for just an emblem, seats or steering wheel. The chassis and engine is a totally different class.

I'm recently tempted to get a 996 C4 and renew the COE.

But not too sure about the reliability of an old 996 although fully serviced and overhauled at Stuttgart months ago.

 

I'm afraid i'll drive it for a few months and feel like selling it again becos it's a bit old.

I also thought about an E46 M3....

 

anyone has experience?

Try this website for spare parts. As usual, BMW AG Auto Teile, you can go to Eng Soon along Serangoon Road and for Porsche AG sportwagen auto teile, going to Eng Soon is also a choice. But they should specially indent parts since they don't carry it. The ZF made for Porsche 7 gang doppelkupplungsgetriebe will be sweet. Found in PDK equipped cars.
