I have been seeing this bike parked at Centennial Tower basement parking for almost a month now.

Just make a call to the police, give them the vehicle number and tell them that you suspect the bike could be stolen... if it is, the police will come down to do the necessary...

 

According to a police friend ... there are some tell-tale signs if the bike is stolen...

1) parking summons

2) found at place where it is unusal for a bike to be parked

3) old bike (RXK, RXZ...blap blap blap)

4) Small CC bike, most youngsters use them for joy ride

5) ignition hole tempered with.

 

Signs that the bike is not stolen...

1) Signs of accident

2) lalang growing around the bike... most likely abandon...

 

But still... There are no harm in calling the police... Hey, u might be helping someone to recover their bike.

 

Anyway, while we are still at the tropic of stolen bike... something sad just happened to the seller of my domin... His bike a DR350 was stolen in Johore... it happened on the same day after he past me the domin... hope his bike can be recover by the Malaysian police soon...

Me bike has been giving the brrrrr sound, something like insects flying sound somewhere at the front part.

I have been looking for loose part or anything that could be making this sound.

Couldn't figure out where da.

IT not always there though.

My oil cooler, there are dented in a couple of places, my thinking is that air flow might have been restricted and caused those "fins" (dont know what its called") to vibrate and making the sound.

Anyway called up Hong Leong to give me a quotation for oil-cooler, $480 , labour $60, 3 to 6 weeks wait, 50% upfront.

 

Asked quotation for valve-clearance check, $120.
