CB's may be good at pickup but all bike enthusiast know this basic knowledge the better the pickup the more it takes away the top end power..so check your sources coz xjr is better at the top end...no disrespect tho.....

Nothing beats gettin first hand info from THE riders themselves.

 

Used to see a blue XJR13 in Yishun area, parked near the MRT station sometimes.

 

I think the comments are objective and unbiased. Yeah, the overheating during jams is also my major concern.

ok bro i get it....coz me oni got a smaller beast than u do..but when check specs CB1300 top speed 231.8km/h ...While yours is 257.9km/h....JUST LIKE THAT HONDA AND YAMAHA IS WORLDS APART....

 

And just this info encourages me to get a digital meter more than ever knowin that i may in fact beat the given top speed of my 400cc to a honda cb4...well nothing to proove its just the product of when man and beast become 1....hahaha

Here is summary of XJR gatherings in pictures for the past year.

@ this time last year, there was only 3 XJR400R riders + 02 XJR1300..(WiTH ThE PowER of InteRneT & members dedications we NOW have 14 riders.)

Then me, wolfener, happy125 meet for the 1st time at Simpang Bedok for dinner & introduction. Met xjrcoco & xjr_riderz at Woodlands, Al-Ameen on a separate nite but LOOK at us now.

 

With a steady stream of members, we even have our own colours(polo-t) & monthly regular meet-ups!

In May 08, we escorted Yamamoto's wedding, a first for us in the Club!

There are also bowling, Kara-Oke, Petrol & BBQ Nites with Chalet coming up next!

Not bad,eh, for such a rare Yammie XJR??!!!

On Sunday, 3rd August 08, Club Yamaha XJR made their way to Kota Tinggi Waterfall after months of plannings. We meet at Kranji MRT before making our way to the smoky Customs & after a quick breakfast at JB, we made our way to Kota Tinggi. It was a fun filled day with lotsa smiles, poses & pictures! We also found out that fishes can eat potato chips!!

 

A pat onto aimmagic's back for making the trip despite working night shift the night before & was sleepless.

A thumbs-up for ayedrock for being early & punctual on the day though he was lonely & solo.

Thank you to abgsham & cik sal for making adjustments to your working schedules and

A big hug to yamamotomaniac & partner for Leading the trip to Kota Tinggi & bringing us, XJRers, closer to nature & kampong feel, with a stopover at ur father's place en route home to SGP. His hospitality & of that ur family, is truely felt, deeply enbedded in our hearts! Lastly to my sleepyhead wife for putting up with the trip though was tired & worn out after a long week!

Reached Ayer keroh OBR to enjoy A&W which clocked 201 km north bound.

2hrs at 140-150kmh and stopped every 80km.

 

just to share this trip actually was just a last minute thingy due to unforseen long wk end. BORN FREE...no pushing no waiting..even the rain didnt deter us frm reachin the destination because we were drenched till our undies at tuas ckp..hahaha

 

NEXT TIME 1DAY TRIP TO KL...SPEND ABOUT 5HRS THERE AND RETURN TO HOME SWEET HOME....TO ACHIVE THIS MUST LEAVE AT 6AM LATEST N B THERE AT ETD 10 AM...

 

1 EXP THAT MONEY CANT BUY... :D
