:btw: the OEM super 4 yuasa battery(MADE IN JAPAN) as kindly shared by tng2377 is how much with installation.

What is the signal the battery would be prompting telling S4 riders to change, yr advice pls. Thanks

Bro, i D.I.Y lah.Got it for $65. From the voltmeter(fit on bike) if less than

12V/11.9V after over night parking then u may have to change the batt.Cause it cant hold the charge well.

Healthy batt should last at least 2 to 3 yrs with low discharge :cheer:

Thanks bros for the cheers...for myself, I rather seek the bike shop for replacement. This is what i hv heard on battery due time for replacement :

"Electric starting should have a kicking sounds, and when the electric starting seems quite difficult to get it started and often got a "zZZZZ" sounds before the "kicking engine sounds", you better got it replaced."

I just installed revtec 2 on my s4 vtec1 yesterday... its supposed to charge the battery better.. you mean it could have a draining effect instead? From the revtec reviews so far, most are good...

Hmmm i dunno but mabbe for older bikes are not suitable. You might wanna try removing it? If you wanna continue using and dun think its becos of that, then change your rectifier and battery. Then all your wiring must be tip top. Other than that i think you have to PM me cos not good to say things abt other's product.
