bike inspection

Normally they only check for safety issues of the bike.

High beam spoilt nvr mind... cos even if headlite super bright, also somehow will fail the test one, unless u go test ur bike at night. (the inspector told me tis)

Think ur bike shouldnt have prob wif passing, unless on the day itself got lotsa emission from the exhaust.

Oh btw, they like to make kick-start bikers start the bike a couple of times.. (i oso dunno y)

i do tat normally, but it will cost more.

borught it to e shop for inspection... i only notice they change e exhaust pipe coz mine is e noisy 1.... den i alos duno how pass my high beam coz dey only change bulb dut still no high beam.... btw thnx 4 ur guidance.....

high beam i don think they check

 

anyway as long ur normal beam/low beam is working shld be can liao

 

not a major non-cponformance for them to fail u

 

BUT i can confirm is ...my horn was intermitent

 

if the bike gets to hot , the horn is not working

 

and i also passed

for 2B bikes ...very impt is your exhaust must comply to LTA regulations

 

next is tail configuration.....meaning mudguard must be there ..not too short also

 

Tail lights working ...signal lights

 

and tyres + brakes working

 

if al these above mention are good

 

95% pass oone

[Throttle]

bike checkup quite fast and easy as long as you dont mod like siao. if fail go agian got to pay again but cheaper.

 

they will check:-

 

brakes

exhaust emission and loudness

alignment

signals, headlights

licence plates

 

very general stuff

 

Color doesnt matter but you are advised to go report the change in color so that it reflects correctly on your log card. can do it electronically online http://www.onemotoring.com.sg
