Anyone fitted any frame sliders on your Super4s? 'Motovation' or 'Equipment Extreme' brands... Kindly post any pics of it here please...

Contemplating between crash bars and frame sliders...:pity: Wanna see how sliders look on a S4 first b4 deciding..

Thanks in advance!

Bro, i wud suggest you get a crash bar..plus sliders for ur front and rear axle....frame sliders only provide one point of impact..but crash bar wud spread the impact force to 2 or 3 pts depending on which crashbar u choose..futhermore it'll protect ur engine better...it was proven on my S4, when it protected my engine from any scratches when i had a tumble at 130km/h...

Wow... you fell at 130km/h? Must have hurt! Btw if you only had a crash bar, it only protects the engine but the front fork and the swingarm also scratched right? If its the right side, then the exhaust pipe will also scratch.. Ouch!

But now there's sliders for every part that I mentioned.. Will they spread the point of impact then? But costs about $300 to fully protect the bike lah... Insurance like that...

Do bear in mind that the crashbars and sliders are products that will minimise damages in case of fall.. does not mean that the products will totally eliminate the damages..

depending on the angle and speed of fall, damages may varies..

I think its divided to the riders' preference whether to protect their rides with crash bars or sliders... But from reviews, I guess it better for me to fix the crash bars instead... Thanks for everyone's inputs and opinions... Appreciate them..

drop my bike once, due to the faulty carpark gantry need to reverse then got 2 hump and accidently slip and fall to the left side.. the sliders take all the damage so nothing happen only scratch on the sliders itself haha

oh forget to mention, i'm using motovation sliders.

3pt crash bar is much more cheaper as compared to the price of sliders provided in the link, and more protection reading from this thread :cheer:

I just installed the 3pt crash bars today at Unique Motorsports for $65. Available in SS chrome or black. Looks quite sturdy. Was also quite difficult for the mechanic to install as my bike also had a belly pan... but still he's managed it well..
