Shaft-driven motorcycles

Hi all,

 

Below are the only Class 2 shaft-driven motorcycles that I know of. If you know of any models that is not in the list below, please post them in this thread.

 

I'm looking at shaft-driven class 2 bike to share with my father. He wanted a shaft-driven model.

class 2 to share with father, I suggest you put in HD, belt driven, as quiet as shaft driven.

It's a personal preference by my dad. No idea too. Looking at tour & cruiser bikes that looks gd with boxes & side panniers installed.

Yamaha FJR1300 is shaft driven as well.

Honda Super Magna VF700. But very hard to find. Your dad SURE love it.

My dad is looking for a new bike and non-parallel models.

 

I checked in BMW website, there doesn't seem to have any models with boxer engine available in SG.

 

Current top choice is Deavuille 700 with ABS, next will be ST1100. Disadvantage is hard to squeeze in between vehicles during heavy traffic.

 

He prefers comfortable ride like cruiser and tourer. Needs to bring him go window shopping around to choose his bike.

Almost all of BMW motorcycles are boxer engine and shaft driven, with exception to a few that is belt or chain driven...
