Would like to know some recommendations from our forumers here regarding which place/shop to respray or touch up my bike. Recently my bike fall and have few scratches at the tank and tailboard. hope anyone can help.. Thx

 

But got dents? If don't have, why spray if it's just a scratch? Can just use the scratch remover (dunoe what its called).

can someone enlighten me if my engine block isit something wrong?

2 round circle (dunno the name) each at left and right alittle oily, isit normal or leaking?

and also how to noe the engine start giving problems?

 

radiator is slightly damage by the previous owner, but no coolant leaking, can the hairline damage be repair? will the pressure worsen the damage and become coolant leakage?

Mine latest FC found 15.8L for 361.8KM(Reserve meter running) means 22.+L/KM. how is it? good?

 

Checked last nite for my handle shaking prob. found tat w/out Givi box the prob solved. Don know what the main reason the Givi box will create this prob. someone to explain??

 

 

BTW, felt changing gear not very smooth, feel like jerking, what will be the cause?

wa. how to turn from side to side cos i onli got side stand. but i tot wheelbearing will b noticeable wen traveling in a straight line while steering cone is when u do turning. correct me if im wrong. cos last time my other bike wobble wen traveling. change wheelbearing den ok liao.

Before I installed EPS and grounding, it's ok. Only after I installed EPS and grounding then the drastic change in my FC. I never whack at all. I stay Pasir Ris, I work at changi cargo. Thats all. Even if I whack, still it wont be 200km left 1 bar correct?

 

Don't worry Ah Pek, I don't blame your stuffs. Your stuffs is the best for sure... Maybe its not for my bike or something like that:angel: This is what I'm gonna do. I will take out the EPS, top-up full tank and re-monitor my FC. Will update here again soon.

i got the same prob as u before. the mech told me that the box is like blocking the wind causing the wind flow not smooth and also the weight of the box will move the CG slightly backward.

 

try to put your clutch freeplay further abit.

if freehand, handlebar shake den maybe is steering cone or balancer.

if turning, u feel the front tyre is like heavy or u turn the rim not smooth, den maybe is wheel bearing ba..

Well I dont really think its not much of a problem, because we can't ride free hand anyway. So as long as one hand is on the bar then I guess I can still ride straight pretty well.

Yuasa. The gold color printed battery with black base color. That's the one you should look for. I forgot whats the model # though...

Hi all, How much normally workshop charged for front brake pump service and change the 'pump piston kit with seal' inside?? Mine Spec3 just changed and been charged $40 without labour.

 

BTW my bike RPM 4K when i cruising 70km/h and 6K+ with 100km/h, Is it normal for SF spec3??

That might be the gasket gone liao? so the eo is leaking or 'sip' out? keep moniter it if it become dripping then time to send to workshop liao. as i know when mech fix the engine they will apply some kind of heat resis silicon togather with gasket?

Oh, so my rpm shld be normal. hehehe.. my idling is 1K+ little bit. clutch in no stone jumping sound. but changing gear felt not very smooth, i wonder the clutch plates life is times out???

 

Er... ur pump kit is the piston with rubber seal and spring only or the whole reservoir? $90? Mine just changed the piston kit, which inclded the rubber seal and spring.

The shop charged me so call material only(according to the boss) as my bike just left the shop 2 weeks ago:(
