Q: Want to ask opinion from u guy. Whats ur experiences for S4 original Showa rear absorber servicing/repair ? is it adviceable/worth it? as i knew the original absorber price 1 pair is ard $1k which is kiling. Repair/servicing will cost ard $200 which replace seal n change oil? Or change option cheaper absorber better? what brand? cost?

 

If I were u...I go to Tech Thye and have it rebuild and improvement on the rebound rate with added spacer to the spring.

[Q] I need advic on my REVO.

It loses power after 10 mins on the move.

Max RPM 10.

Max speed 150Km.

The radiator fan switches on easily.

The feeling is as though there is not enough fuel in the bike-these jerking effects.

I will need to stop 1 side, make a rest on the bike, 5 mins, then move off. but still the problem will persist again after awhile.

Hi guys, recently one rider in Msia bang my tailboard, now I'm only using cable tie to secure it. Any idea how much does an aftermarket spec 3 tail tgt with the tail light cost? Most shops quote 250-300. Anyone knows ah boy pricing? Or anywhere cheaper?

I dunt really know lah bekuz I can't use one as PB1 handle end is a solid 'ball' type. But from my understanding and those that spend $$$s on good heavy weigh ones..it somehow has effects of helping you 'drop' the corner more easily..they say I listen...go figure

U know it after you do it and tested ur bike..important that the mech knows how to explain why it works..again be preferred that you have electrical background to understand otherwise he talk mee_goreng and you be eating mee_rebus! But be concern that not all grounding are done the same and is effective.

im not ahpek but to think logically it somewhat makes your handle heavier for a more stable, less vibration bars.

Look for liquid type brush on rust remover..once after rust is minimised..use "Meaguire Metal Polish" cream to polish it. Do not use Brasso or Autosol...too abrassive.

hi, need some help here. my spec 2 is currently facing some problems. i noticed the voltage would drop to below 9.0 and the bike wouldnt start. luckily i have a switch for my headlight so i still can switch off the headlight and attempt to start the bike. i have encountered this before and the coil, rectifier and the battery all changed brand new alr. cant think of wats wrong already. hope u guys here can help. thanks

During idling, voltage fluctuate btw 13.5 and 14.

During engine off, battery show 12+V.

Hi need your all help, my spec 2 recently facing sometime cannot start the engine, just change the new battery, on ignition got light on meter, press start button got crank sound but engine dont fire. Keep press start button as 5 sec still cannot start the engine. Then i switch off the power, after few minute try again, then can start at once time only. Anything that i can fix it? i'm worry getting worst until after few minute also cannot start it again. Hope someone help or advise me to fix it before getting worst. Any advise here will fully appreciated. Thanks

Throttle but volt drop , not ok... By right it should charge... Ur idling n engine off volt is acceptable

Mine spec 2 sama sama... Hold ur throttle n ignite the engine.. I do this for 2 yrs..lol

I bring my bike for a check and they connect two wires from rectifier to battery. They told me that the max voltage of the battery is capped at 14+V and will not increase anymore when throttle that y drop in volt.

Is it true?
