hi guys, i got question to check, currently in the morning i start my bike, my meter will swipe 2 times, i know there may be problem lies on the battery, but i went to unqiue motorsport. he say my recharge got problem, which is my magnetic coil because when i start my bike the voltage is about 12 something without headlight ON,, question now is Retifier is for what use? i tot if is not battery issue, it mine be Retifier right? abit confuse.

for what i know Retifier is for recharge. but if ur voltage is 11 plus with headlight ON, there may be coil issue bro.

sadly yesterday i drop my bike and my brake lever got bend.

 

not very serious but knowing the problem exists, i wanna change it.

 

but if i were to change to cnc lever, i have to mod my brake kit to spec 2's?

 

anyone knows where to do it cheap?

if not, how much does the stock lever cost?

Hel pal ... You can get at at Chong Aik at Desker Rd or FJT at Rowell Rd ...

Price for the OEM part is around $ 3+.++ including GST if i am not mistaken ...

But if only the lever is bent or tilt you can change the lever only no need to do bleeding... Unless your brake resevoir is leaking already do inspect it 1st ...

But after warmup also the sound will be the same. I ask my mechanic about it and he says he needs to check my top engine but must leave my bike for 1 week. But 1 week is quite long. No bike very hard to travel. Haha. I'm using the stock pipe.

That's why. Now still thinking whether to put bike or not. Coz its stil under warrranty. But so far i ride the bike so good. Very smooth!

Hi S4 riders...would like to know better abt S4..currently riding Yamaha FZ150i &worst FC is 29km/ltr (130-145kmh) (riding full throttle in vry heavy rain,with strong wind,with pillion&heavy things from JB-KL) ...i'm riding my small bike 2 anywhr in m'sia & thai (Mileage 91000km in 2yr 4mth fr FBE bike)...i do weekly ride from KL-Spore as i'm studying at KL& working in s'pore on w'ends...

So,my question is which type of S4 is d best FC fr cruising 140-150kmh?? I heard dat version S got the best FC..if i buy S4,i wanna change sprocket to higher ratio,as so will consume less fuel..

 

take note dat i didnt like to decellerate/brake whn riding at NSE...if got slow cars/lorry/bus infront,i'll squeeze btwn cars or go directly 2 road shoulder,as so d speed will be more constant...power of bike is not my prority, but good FC is d most important thing as i may ride up to 5000km per mth...

 

My current bike FC averages on 34-36km/ltr on 125-135kmh... 12ltr tank can go up to 460km fr long distance riding..

Most important thing is the battery. Replace if its dead. Pump your tyres as well.

bro, warm up also no use, batt will go flat soon if u dont charge it. (sooner or later, i experience b4)

 

it will only charge when the bike is running.

 

may i know whats the reason u wun be riding it? going BMT? overseas?

 

best to disconnect the batt if u wun ride it for 2 month.

Hi all,

 

My spec 2 has a loss of power when riding at times. And when it is stationary, the rpm will be below 1, near 0. I will rev a few times and it might go back to normal, rpm between 1 & 2, but takes a few attempts. Hope u guys can help me identify the problem.

With care & maintenance, I don't find any problem wif EFI bikes.
