Clutch should have some freeplay. Clutch lever end must have distance of freeplay travel at least 1 1/2 inch. IMO.

For Guys and girls who changed from stock to stebel horn where you hide the relay. I have the idea of placing it just behind my headlight or behind the horn. I diy by myself:sweat: The relay seems to be water proof isit true:? Any1 care to share?

 

i hide somewhere in the headlight area using cable tie, can be waterproof but dun let it get wet all the time can liao

 

Im not quite sure abt normal S4s, as mine is a bol dor, after I dismount the tank, there's a metal rod, guide like, to secure the wirings in place, at the left side, near the frame neck there, I simply hang the relay there after placing the wirings(for the horn) in place.

Quite secure as no need cable tie or sticky tape to secure it.

After placing all the wirings back in place, & re-mounting the tank, the relay's quite protected from any water splash, as its quite well hidden.

 

Do bear in mind, the relays are not waterproof but merely water resistant.

I had encounters of faulty relays when Im using them couple with my stebels on my phantom, even thou I hide them away from any openings.

On a side note, anyone encounter, that the clutch lever there, beneath, having rust sightings, and squeaks when clutching in or out?

 

Screw holding the lever rust? Clutch cable head rust?

Or the clutch holder(black in coloured) internal rust?

Yup, yup we are talking about clutch.

If its carbs problem...why only 1st gear..did you asked them that? If its confirm carbs dirty problem, opening up carbs can cost up to $80 and $40 for tunning. Otherwise let me know if you are willing to have a cleansing done without opening up carbs and take 1/3 less the time. Pm me if you are interested.

hey guys, thought of going to install the fender eliminator (rear license plate holder), any1 can recommend which shop ?

 

though after installation, is it still possible to put the stock signal lights on the holder ? or must change to smaller one's? cos i see all of the s4 change to smaller ones, wont the stock one's able to fit ?

It seems to be a sound of lorry coming from behind but there is no vehicle behind me. anyone encounter before? what might be the issue? Thanks a lot.

u could get end can's easily, but not sure about headers, but they do sell hodaka titanium stainless steel headers from motorworld.

for the endcan,u can check the garage sale thread,there r ppl selling,as for the header if u wan the stainless steel type,then u gt to get the hodaka titanium stainless steel 4 to 1 headers from unique motor,they selling abt $550

normal ones already hot, white one's will be even hotter, but not so hot that will crack the screen.
