hey...ermm... cn i knw how long u ride then change spark plug and engine oil?

Every 10-15K km is good enuff.

You can get cheaper and better spark plug at FJT. They are parts supplier but they dun have workshop to change for you. normally I go there buy, go to a motorshop ask for EO change and pass them the spark plug to change. Normally they will do it for free.

FJT is at 15 Rowell road, Little India, Tel: 63925928

Call and check the price before u go. Friendly Staffs :)

haha not willing to risk 700 bucks. last time my friend use gpr cf on his version s, take out silencer. sound damn nice like aeroplane liddat.

both $499 + installation. LV think left 3 only. think quite okay lei since mech told me bo hua to buy 2nd hand ones cos hafta pay for inspection, transfer ownership and installation.

1st hand aftermarket endcan also must pay for inspection

OMG! Now change end can must go for inspection?? Is this mandatory even if we get a legal end can?

yeap, of cos, unless u buy a 2nd hand bike wif the legal pipe wif the cert, if u buying new or 2nd hand pipe, need to go inspection for the cert

45mins.

All done in 45mins.

New owner present can liao but previous owner must produce letter stating the sale of exhaust.

No need.

All paperwork must be ready.

How time flies...

Big is certainly a warning but small can be downright scary! Never underestimate the effectiveness of small.

Regardless of type or eo, mineral or sync, it does not matter. Just follow the manufacturer and stay within the viscosity range of engine oil to be used and their next change interval.

Most importantly, don't sharp rev your bike and follow strictly the total mileage for a proper run in. If you can afford the time and energy for a good "honing" run in, take a trip up Malaysia. Ride at recommended "running in" speed without strat/stopping as much...the idea is to continuously hone the engine cylinder wall and piston rings sitting. :sian:

Hello, can someone answer the questions? :(

Hey guys, a few technical questions here - relating to S4 VTEC Spec I ... Posting them here because I can't find any technical thread for electrical issues - neither can I find a service manual ... :)

1) Is there a physical tacho (RPM) cable on Spec I, or is it electronic?

2) Where is the VTEC solenoid connector located, and what's the colour of the wire? Also, anyone knows the voltage levels (is it 12V? 0V or 12V when VTEC is off?) ...

3) Is there a Diagnotic Link Connector (DLC) present on the bike? I know there is one for the "SF" and "SB" variants of S4, but not sure if these are referring to Version S, Revo or whatever.

And when VTEC opens, beware of your licence. It might be "gone" in 3.9 secs or 1.8 secs (depending on road conditions).
