anybody knows how to remove those sticker strains without damaging the paint job? My fuel tank cap used to have those stickers but after many years it came off and left a ugly sticky strain. Tried washing but cannot and I used screw driver to slowly removed but accidentally scrapped the paint off. Any help? Thank you

Use Benzine from "Ronson" (Yello tin) or "Zippo" (black tin) to soaked and neutralised it and used your thumb with a cloth to rubbed it out. Its those 'fuel' that is use for liquid zippo cig lighters. Available almost anywhere like your neigbourhood mama shop.:sian:

[Question]

few weeks back my speedo and odo meter didnt work.. after riding a few km the speedo starting working again. i went to workshop a few days ago to change battery, after changing, same problem. my mech told me speedo sensor spoil need to replace.. this morning my speedo started working again.

could it be anything that's loose? or the speedo sensor is really faulty and time to replace it?

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

Its always easy to have 'proble' solve by replacing new parts and a time saver and less headache but at the expense of your $s.

B4 you part with your $s unnecessarily, why not open up meter and check first..provided if you know where that sensor is. You are right...may it's loose or dirty. Get WD40 to spray clean the connector to it and dried it wif a cloth and test again. This is likely since it happened "randomly". Could be bad wiring too but that depends on how old your bike is.:sian:

Hi, if any1 know Spec II rpm at 70km/hr? According to my friends spec 1 and 3, at 4.5k rpm 70km/hr, 5K rpm 80km/hr. But mine 70km/hr is at 5K rpm already. when 100km/hr, already 6.3~6.4K rpm, open Vtec already.. Is this normal to Spec 2? any 1 to advise? or is it due to tuning of carb?

helping a fren ..

Anyone can recommend a shop and price range for touch up for engine casing the silver and plack part as the paint is chipping off as well as to powdercoat the silver parts like the forks and the pillion assembly. I dont want the regular spray paint as well

much appreciated!
