Hey all...i just bought a s4 vtec 1. would like to have kakis who can teach me more abt my bike. things like spark plug change,eo n so on. anyone willing n kind enuf to help,pm me ya...i live in sengkang btw...thanks

anyone know what carburator servicing means and hopw much does it cosy roughly??? btw i find that s4 is too low... and sometimes i accidentally scrap of the humps even it is slow speed. is there anyway we can bribg it higher???

is normally is to wash n tune back to the correct position...eg piston shoing a same level...the cost is abt 60-80 depend on which shop u go...n oso if ur part inside spoil, it will be extra charge...

 

by right s4 no need to tune carb so freq

Yap..that's correct. There is a bleeder hole in the tank cap that leads to a small air bleeder tubing under the tank. There is a bigger one but that's for overfilled petrol to flow out.

 

Once the air bleeder hole is clogged with dirt or other foreign objects..or the tube under the tank get kink while putting back the fuel tank, petrol flow consistancy is obstructed...just like sucking a half boiled egg without another hole on top for pressure to pust stuff down.

 

oic...learnt an ex lesson liao...haha...tanks for the advise...

 

at least now i can ride with confident of not scare that bike will break down

hi guys ,

would like to know the procedures of getting a bike through COI , currenly i am interested to carry on the instalement and there fore take over the ownership of the bikes , so does that mean i am carrying on the owner instalement or can the bike to transfer to me first ?

am i the owner or the orginal owner the owner of the bikes which is still under instalement ?

 

any bros with related experiences can share his/her experiences regarding this as this is the first time i handle COI/ purchase of bike myself

 

I am awaiting for the seller to ask his bike shop regarding this issue , but i do hope to know abt COI to prevent any mishandling or whatsoever, money hard to earn these days :cheeky:

any1 can recommend shop for checking or repair s4 spec 1 ?

 

There are a lot of capable mototiam out there. What kind of repair are you doing..anything special?

I exprience some problems on Spec I. Pls help me out and advise me as I a newbie in Super 4...

1) When riding at 3 or 4rpm, there is like a crackin metal sound from the engine. However when it reach rpm 5 then the sound is gone.

2) When pumping petrol, can we top up to the top rim of the oil cap or just at the inner rim of the oil cap( there is like 3 or 4 pieces of metal forming like a circle about length of 1 finger depth from the oil cap)?

3) I traceling about 150km but the meter show full tank and when parking the bike it show half tank. I open the oil cap and did not see amy petrol. Is this normal.

4) My bike is fitted with 2 points engine guard. Is it better to fix with 3 point or just install sliders on both the tyre?

Hi, would like to ask a question regarding my Spec 1. The rear feels like a bit bumpy on normal straight road. I have changed suspension & done my wheel bearing. Even balance my rims. Could any1 enlighten me regarding this issue. Could it b the rim or even the bearing? Thx

i used to purchase my S4 spec 3 accessories from Ah Boy that area, due to some reason, i would prefer to get from other shops at west area, any recommendation guys?

Dear Rider, i would like to know is there anydifferent between super400 Bolder`s ver and those normal wan ? other that the big head? (engine diff? heard is japan system made. compare to other?)

 

Any Rider riding super4 bolder`s? ?

Hello... Anyone can help?

 

My rear s4 nissin brake caliper is missing the "clip" that supports the brake pads and prevent it from getting loose/moving after long term braking.

 

Where can i get just this "clip" only? Any shop that sells spare parts for nissin calipers?

 

I wouldnt wanna get a new set of caliper cuz its too exp and my caliper is still working fine.

Ans:

Qn 1: Its normal.. mine also like dat.

Qn 2: Top up to the inner rim... u top up until too full it will overflow.

Qn 3: its normal laaaa!!!! the meter abit siau siau..hahaha:cry:

Qn 4: 2 point enuf oready. Ride safely! Safety first.
