GD and trick looking accessories don't come cheap. But there are some DIY stuffs you can do with simple accessories to make your bike look nice and unique.

Hello... Anyone can help?

My rear s4 nissin brake caliper is missing the "clip" that supports the brake pads and prevent it from getting loose/moving after long term braking.

Where can i get just this "clip" only? Any shop that sells spare parts for nissin calipers?

I wouldnt wanna get a new set of caliper cuz its too exp and my caliper is still working fine.

Anyone can help? Where can get nissin brake caliper spare parts?

If your battery is already more than 2 years old and especially if it's just a compatible brand, it's time to change it to save you more headaches later.

Situation --> i very seldom ride my bike, always parked there for more than 1 or 2 weeks. But sometimes i will ride to my near by market to buy things. Current i found that it cannot start but got (Tiak) sound, so i tried push start. Although it start but i not sure how to charge the battery. What should i do?

(Winners) --> erm, i not sure if my battery brand is good one or not but i bought it from my friend bike shop last time. the brand is YTX-9 MF Battery (electroyte packed/non-spillable)

If i had to change, what type of battery is most recommend? is it those water type or not water type?

Thanks guys for your help.

since your situation is like this, i think its better you start your bike engine more often.. maybe once every 2-3 days.. and get a battery charger and put at home if possible..

Better check your coolant tank level. The light coming on is freaking serious..if its not wiring fault...your coolant system somewhere is screwed! Do it b4 engine block water jacket cracks! Need help, pm me.:sian:

Hmmm...Why did you buy it without knowing? The seller should actually be explaining to you how this thing works, why it works and prove that it works. I dunno how their works but I have tried them (two other brands) and it never works for me either.

There are more of this kind of products and each has their own capability (how much current it can provide) and reliability (how long it las..there are cases of units over $200+ want also can melt body casing) and these stuff have "life span".

It may and may not work even and I know a few here that doesn't really work that well. Should have bought a "EPS" V3 model Power Charger. If you are interested..over kopee at Teck Ghee I will explain. Seem like seller selling them don't even know exactly what it its and how it works..they can call whatever name to the product they are selling but not knowing how it should work for you.

Hi everyone.

I am new to this forum and live on the east coast of Australia and ride a 2008 Honda CB400 super four vetec ABS, new in 2008, my questions are: where can I download a full service manual and does this bike have a replacable fuel filter ?

Regards, Dennis.

Hi and welcome to the community..."replacable fuel filter ?"..no, however when fuel starts flowing out when you pull out the fuel hose while taking off the tank, it is time to replace the fuel vacuum tap..meaning, the diaphragm is worn.

As for manual..not legal to do but its around. Use to have links from one of threads here somewhere..but its like searching a needle in a hay stack. Check out the Superfour forums..non-Vtec etc..at least a year back

Thanks for the welcome, and the info, I along with a few thousand members of the Ulysses club here in Australia are riding to Albany right down in the bottom southern corner of Western Australia in 6 weeks time to the annual rally, it's about 10,000 Klm's round trip so I was concerned about a fuel filter blocking as we will be getting some very dodgy fuel across the Nullabor Plains, maby it's woth fitting a small filter before we leave.

Wow!...sound fun :thumb:. What you intend to do is a good idea but do be concern about the length of the fuel tube. What comes stock has its design factor in it..that's the length and diameter of the fuel tube. Velocity flow of fuel to the carbs is calculate and dependence on the diaphragm movement which is actuated by a vacuum tube from the engine block nozzle. What I want to say here is that, do not get a fuel filter that is too large or long in length, it may or may not affect the right volume feed of correct fuel amount to the carbs especially at high acceleration riding...thus 'starve' the carbs off fuel. Just food for thoughts :sian: One thing though...never extend the fuel tube or disarrange its layout. Have fun and ride safe ;o)

Thanks for that, as yet I haven't had the tank off the bike so not sure how much room there is under there to fit a tiny fuel filter, after tomorrow the tank will be nearly empty so a bit lighter, will have a look then.

Regards, Dennis.
