brilliant football by Zenit Pettersburg. i love to watch them passing the ball n attack as a unit. as both goals were seen, Rio was at fault. United nvr play like their usual self in the first half. they were seem to enjoy passing rather than attack or create goals. Nani & Anderson nvr such a threat, Rooney out of position, gary shuld not b playing. in the 2nd half United in full flight but too late to hv a comeback. with Park, O'shea & Wes came in united looks great. Rooney was alive n dun mention Tevez, he's brilliant thru out the whole game.. i dun think SAF was serious enuff with the Super Cup. he too was all the time sitting at the bench did not even shouting to direct his player. we lost C. Quieroz n in need a tall striker to put the ball in when eva a beautiful cross came in.. i was upset, the cross ball was nvr a danger to Zenits player. they're enjoying headed the ball away. in the end Rio play upfront haha..

The big concern amongst MU fans currently is will Man U get Berbetov? Or anyone else for that matter. The way I see it, Spurs CONFIRM get the Russian striker, so they will need to recoup $$ fast, thus loweing the price for Berba and letting him move to MU. But for Red Devils sake, PLEASE do not be a "Veron"!

Reds to face Boro

United will host Middlesbrough at Old Trafford in the Third Round of the Carling Cup.

 

The tie will take place in the week commencing 22 September, 2008.

 

The clubs have met six times before in the League Cup, with United triumphing three times and two matches ending in draws. Boro's sole win arrived at Old Trafford in October 1973.

 

The last time the sides met in the competition was at the semi-final stage in 1992. The teams played out a 0-0 draw at Ayresome Park before United won the second leg 2-1 at Old Trafford.

i just hope ronaldo recover fast and get on the pitch and repeat the same performance like last season
