Hargreaves?

I remember clearly, i hated the signing of Carrick - but despite his early incompetency, he turned out to be spectacular for United IMO, after a whole season. And by the same way im hating Hargreaves, im hoping he'll develop too... :p

I have the best signature.

Yup. This season Hargreaves Anderson combination has work out well. Except he's quite injury prone. Carrick is good too. His passing is consider one of the best in the united team, sort of a unsung hero.

for me carrick anderson combination work out very well..the balance in midfield is good with carrick doing some defensive work while anderson roams forward..i dont think hargreaves played well against reading except for that free kick..other than that he did nothing much..didnt link up much when the team attack..but 0-2 not bad..and we're still TOP..glory2 united:)

See why i dislike Hargreaves now?

He gave the ball away cheaply more than thrice during United's trademark attacking possession! And he slows our game down when things are supposed to move faster. Even my hooligan buddies SMSed me to insult him hah.

He's slow, not strong, positioning in defensive off-the-ball stinks, and his flair is almost zero. The freekick was glorious though, but is it worth it?! Youre right it was the only thing he did good.

Lucky we got 2-0 man. The last goal was also a giveaway to be fair to Reading, as they had nothing to lose and launched everyone up to attack. Credits to United's Ronaldo and Vidic though, they were absolutely brilliant last night. Park and Hargreaves were poor performers, but i'd rather the latter get subbed with Giggs. Rooney was way below his par too, he really has to train his finishing, control and diagonal runs more often.

Reading wasnt a strong side but United struggled.

Winning eventhough we are far from our best - I think (or hope) it's another sign it's our season again!

I have the best signature.

i feel Man united struggled due to the off form of ronaldo and rooney in the 1st half they hv lots of chances just did nt finish it well and for hargreaves i agree with wat u all guy say .. he too impress me wif his free kick only. n when he took the free kick did u all look at ronaldo expression ? he like telling me u sure can do it ? their match against reading for the 1st half i m disappointed by their performances which they can did alot better ..

I think yesterday's performances are not just the fault of the players but also due to the presence of fabio capello!!

Hargreaves was jus returning from injury and i guess thats one of the reasons for his poor performance. He held the ball for too long. Went out of position and lost the ball as well.

Carrick also went out of position. Neither of them held the ball up well. Passing was also horrid.

Ronaldo has started his crap of holding the ball for too long. Not passing and being too greedy wanting to take all the shots esp when he should have passed.

Rooney and Tevez hardly had time on the ball and were closed down quickly.

However credit must be given where it is due. Reading seem to play well whenever they play united. The minute i saw Marcus Hanneman on the list i went SHi-tes. He puts on a great show against MU!!

Reading played high up the field; at one point the backline looked like they were camped in the center. Murthy and Cisse played well and their last ditch tackles really saved Reading. Which reminds me another possible reason y MU played bad was b'cos van Der Sar was having another of his nutter days.

Kevin Doyle's and Bobby Convey kept Evra and Brown pegged back unable to assist the attack. Lita and Kitson did well to bother Vida and Rio another reason why Evra and Brown couldn't help in attack, as they were needed to provide a second cover when Vida and Rio were occupied by the frontmen.

The high-D by Reading meant that Rooney and Tevez were practically in their own half scrapping for the ball, while the wide men in Park and Ronaldo couldnt spread play as they would be caught offside.

Capello's presence meant that the English in Utd overplayed to impress thus messin up ... while the English in Reading played to impress as they had nothing to lose and all to gain, which they did well.

Fletcher also lacked match fitness!! And he was one of those that almost resulted in a Harpur goal for Reading.

Giggs also played out of position, instead of takin the CM role he was given after Nani came in ....

Oh well in anycase at least Utd won!!
