actually the match .. united are going for a draw game as they play more on defensive and is lyon home ground .. hence lyon will go all out to get the chances to score as many as possible but at the same time lyon is afraid of man united attack tactics ..

from ystd match i feel that coupet (lyon gk) is better den Man u keeper .. u see van der sar play .. is like some shot he feel stunt den he dun seem to reli bother to dive and if he dive he is slow .. compare to coupet is he alert and quick .. n will try to dive even tot the ball may went off side .. he save alot of shot i can say altot man u manage to score a goal ..

 

Good game from Man U after all .. the whole nite i jus afraid of van der sar he is too slow .. Hope the sec leg he will play better

MAN U started defensively with the line up and tactics , unwilling to venture forward to much .. rely on counter attack ..

 

LYON too worried about man u's counters .. put lots of men behind .. but overall i think LYON's defend did well ..

 

MAN utd will win 2nd leg .. no doubt about that !!

Sir Alex Ferguson has accused some players of 'living in the pockets of their agents' after Manchester United defender Wes Brown rejected the club's final pay offer.

 

 

The 28-year-old, who is a free agent in the summer, has rejected an offer of £40,000 a week to remain at Old Trafford and Ferguson insists the situation 'depresses' him.

 

 

'We wouldn't have made the offer if we didn't have faith in him. But the players of today live in the pockets of their agents,' said Ferguson.

 

'It's a situation which depresses me at times, it really depresses me. Wes has been with us since he was 12 years old, but I don't think that matters these days.

 

'Agents live their players' lives and if you're happy to go along with that then you get the situation we've got just now. But Wes knows this. And the other players have told him.'

Yes, i agree also... never quite liked him too. Too many mistakes. Actually i say get rid of gary nev too. He has made alot of mistakes in the past also but although he has improved and is our captain, i still think he cannot make it.

I dun think SAF will sell Neviile lah bro. He's a local lad plus he has the spirit that can lift up the team and supporters. True he has slackened over the years but no one can "drum up" the team like him currently barring Rooney/Ronaldo.

if saf can get micah richard to play on the right is the best i feel .. as micah richard can play left , right and center is a best buy i feel ..

Yes i agree Micah is de man. his strong n built like an ogre i like dis guy he culd b a vital player for united. as for danny, he culd b a back up player. the best is to get a tall striker like benzema.

The chances of a City player crossing over to United is slim but hey ... Denis Law did and MU still loved him, so who knows. I have to agree that Richards is a gem. And being English is a plus if UEFA's 6+5 ruling comes true. But that said, its common knowledge that English players tend to be overpriced for one reason or the other. How much you reckon Man City will want for Richards?

YEAH!!!! dis season united had trashed newcastle with alot of goals. great football played by united. 3 points to go for a top of the table if arsenal were lose for the next game. YEAH!!! another xcellent wing play by nani. his crossing r much better n better. a scared by vidic wen he was tackled by owen. he was so much important at the back. btw next game will b fulham at craven cottage. hopefully no injuries at united player as lyon game will b not far either.

i think man city will want 30m for micah if manutd wants him..but i think its worth the money becoz hes young and very strong defender..but going for him and benzema would give the glazers headache man...

30 Million?? Man U will be LUCKY if Man City only asks that much. I expect the figure to be jackked up to a ridiculous price of 50Million at least. Reasons being, he's and established England regular who has plenty of years ahead of him.
