anybody know if speedzone got the new fmf jetkit for the drz sm?

forgotten to ask errol on sat.

darn it~!

if i'm not wrong.. the FMF is a repackaged stage 2 DJ kit.... it's actually packed for DRZ-E model. currently there isn't any DRZSM DJ kit in sg although it's already out. i dropped by DIRTWHEEL last week to ask about the DJ kit they selling. it's quoted S$80 bukcs w/o installation and mainjet is up to 138 only.. so that's actually the S model kit.

the dj kit stage 2 might not be able to fit our bikes. if you cannot wait or don't want to buy it online, you can but the DJ kit from dirtwheel and buy 140 mainjet yourself and 25 pilot jet for your 3 x3 mod.

FYI 25 pilot jet is also not available in sg! and your stock mainjet is bigger than DJ kit mainjet. and your stock pilot jet is smaller i presume.

happy hunting and shopping.. eh no one wanna tell me more about shocks and springs?? wah lao eh....

look no further! there's always rick when it comes to online ordering! ask him liao... but it's better to read up more.. i'll continue to read more and if got any findings i will post it here... you might wanna ask what's the big deal about shocks and suspensions? actually i also don't really know but it's essential part of the bike in the sense of handling and maybe comfort. that's my point of view... any other inputs?

u'll need a longer subframe which the S models have..

but i dont know if the E and S subframes are 'swappable'..

karmatrix might be interested for the swap?

Nice stuff especially the exhaust/header heat guard but severly overpriced. Litespeed items are on par if not better and costs much less.

Lightspeed (formerly DSP carbon) made the older carbon fibre parts for Suzuki (USA) Not sure who makes this new German stuff but I prefer the looks of the DSP/Lightspeed frame guards.

Hard & R.C. So u guys are using stage 1 or 2 hotcams? And for stage 2 cams i must install a decomp lever rite?

even though i'm not R.C. but i can answer u! yes! stage 2, it's better u install the decomp lever. because if you don't, you better park your bike at places where there's long slopes or carry extra batteries with you or have a friend to help you push start.

in other words, stage 2 hot cams does not come with auto decomp and stage 1 is generally the stock E cams.

Well actually you don't need a decomp lever. It is slightly harder to start and puts a bit more stress on your stator and batt. For my case, my batt wasn't fully charged coz I don't ride it often. After the long ride up and down the highway, cranks no problem hahaha!

update on the MCCT leaking problem.

I had tighten the locking nut a bit and since last week up to now it seems to be not leaking..will update u guys again in 1 week time.

Tat means tat i can start the bike even without decomp. But for long run will it really damage the stator & batt? If not i'm going to get my hands on those stage 2 hotcams liao. :lovestruck:
